google play in app discounts question

Has anyone bought donuts very recently? How much was the discount? Did it apply only after you clicked the buy me?

Haven't tried it ... so, sorry I can't help.

... but that wording reminds me of an ad from our insurance company long long long ago: "Save up to 50% or more on car insurance." Which pretty much covers everything from "save zero" to "save 100%"

Perhaps it's leftover from Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals on Google Play store?
I know there were a lot of different games advertised like that over that period...

I wouldn't believe anything you see in the google play store. We have been having bad storms here the last few days and had a power outage on Christmas Eve. To be prepared for the next outage I looked in the store for apps that could be played without wi-fi. It lists this one. :shock: I wish.

Seen this the other day in the playstore. I had to try it to see of there was any discount at all. With my purchase I made I was given NO discount. I knon it said up to 90% but was given 0% Not sure why it's listed under the discount section.

Hopefully there will be a good donut sale soon.

Except they have been advertising discounts in the Play Store (not the game store) for a couple of weeks. It's really just false advertising from Google.

Well.. You *can* play over a cell connection so they are kind of right. :?

I play on a tablet with wi-fi only. I could never imagine using up data on a phone for this game.

I miss my days of unlimited data at a good price. Have a family plan now, can't afford it for three phones and only share a tiny gb of data each month. Can't do anything without wifi.

Google the phone number for Google Play Store and you can call and speak to a rep when you call and speak to the Rep ask about the discounts. the very first time I started buying donuts I wasn't exactly sure how to redeem a gift card I called them and they explained how to redeem it.
