Last two weeks I was done in 48 hours, and had everything refilled for next week. Grr...in the two weeks I got 5 straight pieces. I have over 90 useless curves and over 30 squigglies I would love to trade for straight.
I would like to add if EA would give us a way to trade in our extra tracks for ones we prefer, I probably would stop grinding each week to get more once I was done. I will stop when I have what I need but in the meanwhile, I'm getting lots of free donuts. If they made it easier on us, they would save money.
I did it once with two days to spare. Most times I'm within hours of the reset. Last week i didn't make it. This week i may skip it too.
In fact i may be preparing myself for my first break from this game. I've played every day for over two years, and i don't like how much time i give to this game anymore.
It's just too much like an addiction that controls my time, rather than an occasional fun diversion. I don't like that.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!
Typically by noon Thursday or early afternoon.
Last week was my longest one ever with sending some of the required characters on event quests, and time spent with family doing Christmas stuff. I think I was Saturday last week.
This week was easily my fastest yet, was done by 6:30am this morning (Thursday). I could have been done last night if I sat closer to my phone in the evening.
Usually get the 5 doughnuts on Wednesday afternoon and have all my crafting material maxed out by the end of the night. Except this time my glass is only at 75  I had 5,000 to go with 85 glass and never got below the 70 mark
2 days to finish it, 1/2 days to refill for the next week.. So 2.5 to 3 days like clockwork. (Usually, occasionally because of weird material needs it might go longer)
I use the overfill strategy, too. I often get the donuts Thursday morning when I turn in my first round of projects. Today my in my A game I had to craft some more plastic for the final project, and I'm still several projects away in my B game. It all depends on which projects I get. This week in my B game it's been mostly low payout projects that need metal.
I usually have the current track bonus earned by the time it says there are 3 days to go for the next batch. I don't use all the people available except in glass recycling. For the newbies out there, I believe it makes a difference if you place all of your recycling buildings close together. As a side note for those who have asked, yes--you CAN build a second fully operating monorail in Springfield Heights. Just move a station over there and start building. It's a good way to use all those curve pieces. Unfortunately there appears to be no way to connect the two monorails over the mountains. Have fun!
I always finish on Mondays,
It can be so frustrating - Last week, i was working against the clock Monday night, and still needed about 500 plans to get to 70k with around 1 hour left. I was exactly 5 glasses short for the 500, so I ended up rushing one character for 2 donuts to get 3 donuts and 5 tracks back - I normally never rush jobs w donuts, but it made sense...

Hope you all will come good in the new year.

Do you have the premium players that help with the task? I'm sure they would pay for themselves after a month or two.
The Blackgloom Bounty
It also depends on what recyclables they let you cash in.
Still wish I could get rid of my 125 or so curved/S track for straight.
