I would say an average of 3-4 days. Usually I'm done and fully restocked by Thursday night?

About 48 hours to get the donuts. Then the next day I leisurely spend refilling to around my max (i.e. currently my metal/plastic/glass are at 285/170/140).

The above assumes not much else is going on and I don't have poor luck with the rail yard options.

A few weeks ago I kept having all glass options for the rail yard. I'd tap on one only to have it replaced by another glass one. Took forever to refill my glass, especially since I had some glass characters doing xmas stuff.

I only once had enough time to get the 5 donuts... mostly im just to late to finish it.

Do you have the premium players that help with the task? I'm sure they would pay for themselves after a month or two.

I think 2... But i on workdays i can only log in twice... Real life the biggest problem :p

I have a 7pm (local time) reset. Think the longest I've ever taken was about 84hrs (Sat morning) including maxxing out over the cap for the following week. And that was during this event, with some characters doing the Xmas building level-ups when needed.

Usually takes me 48hrs though, maybe a bit longer if I still need a last round of maxxing out my materials for next week. That's with all Monorail people (incl. Jesse), & all premiums except Dewey Largo. But Brandine's currently giving birth #2, so she's not used.

If I have everyone working on it (no character is needed for an event or quest), I can log in enough to reset the tasks every hour except when I'm sleeping, and I don't have to idle characters much because I'm full of something and there's no jobs to get rid of it (usually happens with glass), I can get it done Wednesday night. I've only pulled that off a couple of times. Usually get it done Thursday mid-day, evening, or Friday morning. Today I got it after lunch, and in less than an hour I'll have everything filled back up and ready for next week.

I think the closest I've gotten to not getting it was during Halloween when enough people were pulled away due to the event that I didn't get to 70,000 until late Sunday night and didn't get everything refilled until Monday morning.

Sorry as I'm sure there is a thread for this but how do you earn the 5 donuts from collecting track pieces?

Finish the 5 railway sections and the donuts will be rewarded at the end of it.

I've given up during this event as there was so much going on. Gave up on SH as well although today I have been trying to buy up the rest of the land as I have finished part 2 and cannot collect enough for any more donuts.
Usually it takes 3-4 days depending on what collectables they ask for.

Usually Friday, occasionally though it's Saturday it all depends on what else I was doing in the game.

I have all the characters who have tasks at the depos, but it usually takes me until Saturday to get my donuts.
Oddly Saturday seems to be the day regardless of events. Maybe I strategize a little more during events.
It's always nice to start the new railway week with the production buildings overloaded.

Question for the people who get their 5+5 by Wednesday or Thursday, how often do you play? :)

REF: Question for the people who get their 5+5 by Wednesday or Thursday, how often do you play?

    ANSWER:

I'm old, retired and new to Simpsons. I work the game at least 8-10 times a day - every day. I've added a second fully operational monorail in the Heights just so I can use all of the track pieces I've accumulated. That keeps things interesting.

I did it once with two days to spare. Most times I'm within hours of the reset. Last week i didn't make it. This week i may skip it too.

In fact i may be preparing myself for my first break from this game. I've played every day for over two years, and i don't like how much time i give to this game anymore.

It's just too much like an addiction that controls my time, rather than an occasional fun diversion. I don't like that.

Same here but been playing a tad longer.

I think the shortest I've done is just under 3 days, but can take 5-6 if I'm slack or an event is on like right now with Christmas tying up some characters needed for it, this week it took about 5.5 days.

Since the Halloween event, I have not been able to finish the weekly tracks on time. It's frustrating! I have to divide time between events AND making tracks. It was partially the cause that I've never been able to finish act one of the Christmas event, which meant I missed out on Patches and Poor Violet, Virgil's cabin, and Ned's gingerbread house. At least twice I had to forego making the tracks just so I could finish the events and/or give more than enough time to overfill the recycling.

Maybe having premium characters DOES make a difference. But I'm a freemium player. :(

Usually done by thu/fri but not so easy when your garbage collectors have to do other tasks :?
