Don't panic, as they say on a certain show, there is plenty of time yet, you will get a certain amount from completing quests, so many from neighbours visits and of course there are also the bears I your town, it is only the first day so just keep tapping

You need about 1713 pacifiers per day to keep on schedule. If you clear your bears 4-5 times a day, visit your neighbours to tap bears and get your daily combo bonus you'll easily manage it with no need for anything extra. Maggie too has tasks for getting pacifiers and probably some of the quests dole them out too.
