My favorite color in this game is pink, as in pink donuts. So unless there is something more compelling than green grass, I will continue to trudge on through the snow in pursuit of the pink sprinklies until they force an update. I am close to getting my 5th round of bonuts.
Just like every year i forgot how nice the green looked... Did it relly look like that?
Anyway, loving it and very pleased with my park i made in the winter. Turned out better then i thought!
The snow is way to sudden and severe for my tastes.
I've mentioned it before but... I like the way Animal Crossing does the seasons. You get a little snow for awhile and then a month or so later you get all snow and then eventually less snow and then no snow. It's just a more natural progression than waking up one day and finding a ton of snow that lasts for over a month and then suddenly disappears one day.
This reminds me -- when I was logged into my town earlier, I forgot to look to see whether the Couch Gag snow thing melted. I had put my snowmen in storage last week. Wonder if they treated it the way they treat the ice palace and ice walls (which stay frozen through the year) ... or if they treated it the way they treat the other snowmen.

Towards the end of the winter event I get impatient wanting it to turn back to green so when I see it it's like a huge sigh of relief. If only I could turn Canada on and off like that.
I love the snow during Christmas, but towards the end I do look forward to the grass returnig. Even so, the change is so sudden it takes me a couple of days to get used it.

life imitates art.
