Who Shot Mr. Burns Event? Good idea or terrible idea?

They'd need to add more to make it a full scale event. If they mixed in the episode where Homer starts a "neighbourhood watch", with new skins, then maybe use some new police/secret service characters and items, maybe some new journalists, that'd be cool.

For it to work, you'd need to make it a bigger deal, to bring in people/news organisations from outside Springfield reporting on the mystery. You could also bring in a private investigator, maybe the Germans who bought the Nuclear Power Plant.

As storylines go this would be an awesome addition! There would be so many possibilities with it-hopefully with the recent addition of Maggie it will open the flood gates for such ideas.

Great idea. I think tapping into the classic episodes is a great way to extend the life of the game beyond lvl updates and major holiday events.

however, is it me or is it reality that most fans only remember these great moments from these 'classic' episodes and nothing is really 'memorable' from the past, say 5 years? maybe it is just me that don't seem to remember anything as sticking from the show for the past decade

Great idea! It could really be the perfect way to introduce the night mode.
And i think the "single episode based" events (whacking day, stonecutters, terwilligers, monorail...) are the best and the funniest. Who shot mr burns and the burns casino should be the next ones!
