How doi post a picture directly from my ipad?

You need it hosting somewhere, then you add an IMG link directly to the jpg file. I use postimage.org to host images for free, you can see what others use by quoting a post with an image and looking at the URL.

If using IOS 6 you should be able to upload directly from Safari.

I've just taken a look at this and it appears to work direct from Safari. This feature was added to Safari with IOS version 6, so perhaps you need to update your software, or just try again as you probably tried before IOS 6 was released...

alternatively you could go to the image on your ipad and email it to your self. then go to your email in safari (not your mail app) open the image in your email and then copy that url. hope this helps/works for you.

I have the Photobucket app just for those times when I want to share iPad screenies and pictures. It's a free app that's vey easy to use and it links everything to the Photobucket website. You get a nice direct link to the image you can put I to your posts that you can flank with the img code to make it viewable whe you become promoted.

Nice find! This is the way to go if you have an older device.

And since I had been using Photobucket when I got my iPad anyhow it was natural that I put the app on it so I could upload things to there from my iPad and iPhone.

Yeah this will save me a lot of time in the future and since I'm into photography, it's a win win :)
