Agreed! Considering the Rail Yard produces donuts you would eventually make them back.

I don't see it happening, because it'd have to be a total retread of the last one. They'll come back as a sale at somepoint, probably when WE need to stall because the new event isn't ready yet.

    This.

And along with it hopefully it'll bring Lyle Lanley as a permanent playable character.

I would love another Monorail event, but yeah it would probably be a mini event. I need the first station, and I would love Lyle Lanley as a character(never going to happen, blah, blah...), but I would also like to get Jesse Grass and Uriah's Heap Recycling Center and the Hippie.

They should do a continuation Monorail event which adds new content for people that already have it but starts the event at the beginning for those of us who don't.

I don't think EA has ever thought about (or maybe they just don't care) how past events affect new players.

Offer old content for donuts? No thanks. Why should I pay for something that everyone else got for free? Why don't you have an event queue that let's players play old events when they have time?

I'm a new player and not being able to get old content really discourages me from playing.

I see something cool in a friends town and then I realize that I can't get it, reaction: "This game sucks!".

I've been playing about a year and a half. I remember looking at neighbours towns and all their cool content. A few months back I took a good look at my town and thought "I have a lot of cool content". This realization made me look at the content in neighbours towns differently. I still covet some of their content, but I no longer look at my town as inferior. I'm also mostly freemium. Keep playing you will get some cool content also.

It should be something like Stonecutter 2. Some items on sale, some items to win during quests.

    I'm not into it.
I understand the want for new players to get old stuff.... but thats the thing with LE.. it was a limited time item/event. It doesn't mean it won't come back, but it will likely cost donuts when it does........ Do I think thats not fair - no. They may cost too much in donuts for something we all got free, but expecting to get a limited thing free forever - no.

And you don't have to be a new player either - we all have things passed on because they cost too much, we didn't have the donuts to spend, we just didn't think it was that cool - and then we see it in another town - and maybe it is cool, or we wish we did buy it. We may get the chance again - if not.... its not worth being upset over.
PM me- I DO need Good Neighboreenos currently

You noobs are so new you don't even realize the limited time stuff is rereleased all the time. Sometimes for donuts, sometimes to be won again, sometimes given away free. (Kang & Kodos, for example)

It there's any tip for noobs who crave items from past events, my only suggestion is to be patient and keep playing. It'll probably come around eventually. Don't try to be such a completionist. Settle in for the long haul with this game and you'll be far less frustrated.

That said, I'm in no rush for more monorail. Too recent.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

I missed the Monorail but never regret it. I don't mind if they do it again, I'm just not sure whether I want it in my town. Yes, it brings donuts, but it is such a big thing in means of design that changes Springfild totally. Stations and tracks itself become the main objects and they are the first thing you see in towns. Honestly speaking I've seen just one nicely designed town with monorail integrated but it was again Monorail first and Springfild somewhere behind. IMO of course.

Another monorail event??! The first one still hasn't ended in my town. I don't think I'll ever have enough of that damn track.

It was balls for android players. Barney was for free for apple players because it was the Christmas event before they had origin for android so we all missed out on free Barney who then went to one of the most expensive characters.

I have a rather large monorail layout. Its been a struggle since needed straight track doesn't show that often after completion of the task. Yes I would like to get 1 or 2 more stations, need one for my space port so the riders could stop there. So yes I'm in for that.
