Money Mountain or World's Largest Redwood?
It's very difficult to argue against Burns' gorillachest skin. Pays out at a super-premium rate, more than any other character or skin out there.
Solely based on that, you should be singing the "See my Vest" song.

So my son said "But look on the bright side -- it will only take 1,091 days to break even. "
Of course, with my awesome multiplier (about 500% when I take all my multipliers out of storage), it takes a lot less time ... my math skills are horrendous, but I think that means it would pay about $30,000 a day ... so I could theoretically break even in 183 days, as long as I don't mind setting him to work every hour for 24 hours a day for six months. After that, it's all gravy.
Ive only gotten to level 3 of the redwood so far
When you have that much money, it's all about XP. It's the super-premium XP, and the fact that you get XP from upgrading the MM itself that is the tipping point for me. If I'm blowing cash on Bloodmobiles/Rat Traps anyways, better to put it towards the MM instead. Sure, you don't get the money from sell-back, but in the end you'll end up with the XP bonus from the mountain, and the super-premium character as well.
Yes, I blew off the money mountain for a long time. I was not one of the fortunate players who was able to take advantage of earlier glitches like the stacking handshakes etc. and I don't have a huge load of premiums that give me a ridiculously high multiplier so it really felt like a waste of cash. But recently I've managed to build a buffer of in game cash and my rate of earning has been improved (SH hidden multiplier will do that!) so now I have started to chip away at it incrementally. It's much less painful to do a little bit at a time, and it's not as if there is a time limit.
If you don't care about this and just want to finish one of these tasks plus invest in future cash flow (negligible in my opinion since both these items are money sinks), go with the Money Mountain. Monty Moneybags gives a 3x multiplier to task payout plus you'll only have to worry about setting jobs for one character.
I did it the hard way too, no glitches or multipliers at the time. Just finished up and caught up with all the levels. It was the first time I'd started to accumulate game cash without a particular need, so I just started chipping away at it. As noted above, the MM seemed to take much longer for some reason.
EA designers are getting really lazy. Seriously.
