Gamblers will go to Burn's Casino. Is when you tap on them, you will get ten chips and maybe random crafting materials to earn your keychains. I have been lucky at Moe's Casino in receiving more than chips.
Best way to get keychains is at Moe's slots. Random chance of dropping 2 crafting items with your payout. Also, do you have to get just one, or does it show you 0/5 in your status area? (which would mean you need to get 5 of them)
The only other way to get Keychains is to win them in a Daily Challenge. This morning I got a Challenge to collect 5 Courtesy Chips to earn 25 Keychains.
Have you been playing the slots at all? So far, I've managed to craft everything for Tier 1 as well as 5/10 upgrades towards Tier 2 (3 using keychains). That puts me at over 200 keychains total so far. Granted, 30 were from the Players Club reward, but still...

No i am not playing the slots as i don't need to
I have so many tokens saved it is crazy and is going to take so long to run through them all when the time comes.
I figure i can easily coast into getting Lucius Sweet without using those spins so i don't need a bunch of extra red chips that are no good for nothing. I am saving my tokens to get a jump start on act 2.
Wow a lot of people are replying to my request. I have somehow recieved all 5 keychains. I dont know what I did to get it but theyre all there now. I can now move onto the next chalenge.

OK, well there's the answer. Most of the crafting materials come from the slots so far. Also, you can get bonuts once you've got Lucius, so the chips won't all go to waste. Not sure what exactly will happen with crafting materials when Act 2 starts and we have two more types plus the dice hut.
I uset to get pretty good amount of keychains and coasters from tapping players until about a day ago. Now I barely get 1 from tapping 50-60 players when previously I could get easily 5-8 ever 4 hours. I noticed that also my chip amount dropped drastically. Im wondering if it's because I already got Lucius and am pretty ahead in the game? I grind 3 towns (2 with 9 people making chips and my husband's who has 6 characters) just by checking in constantly (it helps if you are not able to sleep for 48 hours and can't work for health reasons). But now its really difficult to level up the Burns casino crafting (I'm levels 8, 7 and 5 in my towns) as I can only receive keychains and coasters from using my now limited chips at Moe's. Anybody else has the same experience? I have been counting my drops since the beginning and the difference all of a sudden is huge.
They are definitely rarer. I've upgraded 8 times, I think only 2-3 from key chains. Rest have been coasters. Those are dropping like (blue) eggs, while the key chains are more like the (pink) eggs for me. While tapping gamblers I always see coasters more than key chains. While playing the slot machine, I am also seeing a lot more coaster wins than key chains.
Is this some type of bull like Easter where some players get more of one resource and its not evenly distributed?
