Many Springfields same time?

Nope. One town, one account.

You will need a Origin account for each game if you want to be able to move it to another device later.

It is possible to play the game "anonymously" by (login out of Origin and) start a new game without login in on Origin first. That will start a game for that device only.
It can't be moved and where is a risk that it may be reset doing a game update. (that did happen to some "anonymously" playing players with the Casino update)

You can have multiple accounts AND have a town for these on each of your devices.
There are a lot of people on here who do that very thing.
Being able to have multiple accounts/towns on one device is part of the game design.
There are many, many households where multiple people share one device.
Look on the main screen, there is a 'Logout' button there.
I've tried it, it definitely works and all of your towns will be fine.

You will need a different email address for each account/town. I have been playing 5 towns on my iPad and phone for 3 years. Yes, it takes a little time to login/logout between towns, but I like being able to experiment with different designs.

Just to agree with what others have said here.

You can have as many towns as you want. You need to create a separate EA account for each town, and each town will have a different town name. You can play every town on any device. If you have multiple devices, you have the option of having a different town OPEN on each device. I do that all the time.

I have had interested about having two games active in the same time since I can play with iPad,
So, I had this idea to get two different accounts in the same address.
    Is it possible?
I don't want to nuke my level 59 game, I don't even want to take any chances that it would get hurt.
But I am interested to start over to play tapped out.
    Is that possible? :?:
