This looks to be a good update, but, come on, no Father Sean? He's Irish, and this is an update that figures heavily into two Catholic holidays -- a saint's feast day and Easter -- and no return for TSTO's resident Catholic priest?
I wouldn't completely rule it out just yet! Wasn't he available in the Easter 2014 event? Because we haven't seen what we will get in the Easter event I wouldn't rule it out. It is disappointing though!
The shamrock cafee....it comes with a "leprechaun"?? I need at least 1 leprechaun in my town. And I feel like that's a good price a building and character. What do you guys think?
I would choose the Wishing Well for its +4% money/XP bonus. This 4% nets me an extra $16.80/4XP per non-premium 12hr job ($420/100XP). For my 90-characters town, this is a bonus of $1,512/360XP every 12 hours; versus the $300/30XP from the Cafe over the same period. Not forgetting also, the shorter the character's job, the higher the payout-per-hour (note: 8hr and 12hr jobs have similar rates).
But, it is an extra 30 donuts; and i'm comparing a decoration to a building, some may find this un-equal. It all depends on your preferences and playing style.
***Disclaimer: The completionist in me dictates that if i purchase 1, i would have to purchase all 3 to complete the Irishmen character collection. I am a freemium player and do not have enough donuts at the moment, so i won't purchase any of the Leprechauns. My brain is okay with the collection being 25% completed (Tom), since the other 75% (the 3 Leprechauns) requires a cash equivalent
happy happy free free!
blindsided by free pub
did not expect a character to plop down today with no donuts to sugar his arrival.
merry thanks-Irish-day
mmmm, this means I'm the leprechaun who gets to keep me pot of gold. And it's in a real safe place. Yes. I store it internally. But I digress.
Happy Purple Horseshoes and Green Clovers and Yellow Diamonds and all the other marshmallow treasures associated with this wondrous culture which we celebrate on this fateful Wednesday of our Lord Jebus.
I was tired of having all my characters taken away from the casino so I bought Rich Texan. It seems like I'm reinforcing an evil system, but I wanted to get him anyway.

Ah I see.....thanks!
It stops doing that after 4-5 times
Looks like the next couple of days is going to be hectic with tasks with Act3 starting tomorrow

edit: and now it's back. smh
Read closer - you need to get past Homer's first task.
Unfortunately, from what I've read, Ned is going to be needed for a while on the questline, taking him away from the casino job :x

Edit: Looks like Ned is the new Lisa for now.
Well that's not good news! But thanks for the heads up - I don't seem to have any information on these quests.
