Remember When We Were Dying For Craft Resources?
Yeah, I almost was going to ask people what they are crafting multiples of. I guess it depends on how they decorate,
Should I get a zillion Walk of Fame Stars just in case I someday need them?

Will just see how much of Springfield I can cover in Walk of Fame Stars....
...before I hit the decoration limit
I wish we could trade 16 Walk of fame stars for 1 tile of sidewalk covered in stars, either way im going to pave Springfield Heights with these stars, specifically heights theater, maybe the Big T Theater, but we shall see.
Shame the Nero walls aren't craftables, I would probably have crafted those almost exclusively.
8x Constant Fountain
4x Sequence Fountain 1
4x Sequence Fountain 2
4x Sequence Fountain 3
4x Sequence Fountain 4
10x Exotic Tree
10x Ficus Plant
8x Hollywood Star
4x Constant Spotlight
4x Sequence Spotlight
1x everything else (except Spruce Moose)
...and I have ~100 of each crafting material. I've only been able to use 6 characters at the Casino, though. I'd imagine even 1 premium would've gone a long way.
I definitely have cool new stuff; I just don't think that I'll be able to get all the stuff I'd want, were materials not a factor.
I'll see your nice and raise you an amazing!!!
( see what this gambling update has done to me?)
EDIT: I was thinking all that was missing was fireworks, then I saw the box behind the casino. Must look extra cool
when you tap on it!
EDIT 2: how did you make an animated jpg?
I used the A-Z Screen recorder app on Android to record, then I trimmed the video and converted it into a gif. Then I uploaded the gif to Imgur.
I would be happy if the menu didn't close after crafting each item.
@roperlego859 - That's a very gorgeous and stunning display!
Yup - that'd be a big improvement! Anything to make it more convenient to craft multiples...
That's a good point. For all the complaining we do about EA's "missteps", it's nice that they shake things up, as events are less predictable.
In my nearly 3 years of playing, though, I don't recall an event where I went from "it's impossible!!!" to "yawn" as quickly. For Acts 1 and 2, crafting materials were at such a premium that I really was a bit nervous about getting them all.
I know, I know - we panic every event and they end up fine (except for Easter 2014), so I should've gone with that. Still, resources came in such dribs and drabs that I began to worry this would be another nailbiter.
I was turning down free donuts from the Daily Challenge in the hopes that I'd get resources, for God's sake!
So I went from "gimme more tickets/martinis!!!" on Thursday to "crap - more tickets/martinis???" on Saturday. That's a turnaround I've not experienced in this game! :-)
I honestly don't think it matters. Everyone's tried to figure out a pattern/advantage and I don't think one exists. Just keep tapping/playing and it'll all work out!
BTW, I hope this thread doesn't look like I'm "gloating" that I'm so far ahead when I know not everyone is in the same position. I'm a pretty hardcore player - I don't speed with donuts but I go on the game many, many times a day, so I'm gonna keep the crunching moving.
Anyway, I don't want this to be a "look at me" thread - I ran it because I really don't recall ever going from famine to feast as quickly as I did with this event!
I invested in my own little fountain garden as part of my Casino District center!
