I'm kind of excited, hoping they are foreshadowing about a desert themed event that also introduces more land.
This would make sense if they had originally intended to include the desert items in a Vegas theme, realized there was too much content for one event, and split it to half casino half desert.
But I'm still going to request an increase to the feature count.
And since it seems more than coincidental that many things we discuss in the forum are getting into the game...
... I'm going to have to keep bringing it up, and encourage others to as well. We can't reach "the end". That's just unacceptable! Lol
Yes!!!!! Please raise the item limit!!!!!! I am so sick of complaining about this. Wanted this for a year now. And being able to discard items we don't want would be lovely.
I'd like to be able to put all the unwanted stuff from my inventory into a special dumpster that my neighbours can rummage around in and take what they want.
This is a great idea!
I have extra stuff I crafted from events I would love to give away.
It would be great to have a Badlands themed event. I wonder if the desert area will be like putting down pavement rather than an expansion. I would rather have that, much more decorating options in my opinion.
I'd prefer it if it were beyond the mountains in Krustyland (no decorations limit) and we could place all C.O.C., Stonecutters, Casino and any other desert themed pieces there. Maybe NARA too. This would free up tons of space and keep our decorations limits way down.
If it were in the same strip as Springfield Heights there would probably be a lot of annoying crafting involved.

Annoying crafting you say? Hahaha
You mean to say a 45-50 days grind is bad? For a 30++ year old person with a family and all? Maybe with a jobb or two.
Problem is, nobody visits KL. Nobody builds in KL, so why open that tomb stone? Let Lara Croft do that
I'm already not that excited about a desert/Western theme event, and I'd be even less excited if it's off-screen like Krustyland. In fact, I'll probably just skip it if it's like Krustyland.
I think the days of the "other land" like Dustyland are gone. EA realizes that it is not well-received overall - they even make jokes about it in the dialogues - and I would like to think they have learned from that mistake.
Similarly, I think it would be tough to add another section like SH as well, since many players have not purchased all the land necessary. I think the best thing to do would be to add another few versions of ground cover . . . correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't that been begged for for years now??? . . . and desert-themed decorations along with a Badlands event. This would allow us to place our area where we want it, to make it as big or small or non-existent as we want without adding more side-trips. I suspect the stuff we want (in your face Space Coyote) will be grind-heavy in a crafting mechanic or donuts.
I am just guessing, but this seems to be the most logical approach to it. Which means EA will do the opposite.
I'm hoping we'll get some sort of teaser on Facebook tonight and then it'll arrive tmrow sort of like Springfield heights. If be happy with any kind of update this week just to get rid of the horrible bunting the hedges and the painted fences

I just want the update to come out as fast as possible

Same here anything new will be good. I hate downtime
"It turns out the casino craze was just a craze who knew - but whats next for our favorite town? A dustup over dirt? More casinos? Well, probably not that. Well figure out some new ideas after we go on that team building low ropes course Gary suggested.
New characters, new buildings and new stories are coming soon!

8) And the plot thickens.... I guess the question now is, how soon do updates usually hit after EA gives these hints???

That was my first thought! I hope we get it!!

That's what I'm hoping for. Maybe the entire area will have a sandy ground and they'll get rid of some of the mountains to a certain degree

I like the idea of having to be at at level 40. But I think it should go on west side but at the opposite side of Springfield heights
Yeah but I was just thinking that's where we normally get new land!! Adam it can be on the west side because that is ocean..
Today...!!
