If the prize is a skin, it might either be in your inventory or added to the "option" skins in that character's task list.

If it's an animation, you wouldn't see it until you use the animation for a new job.

NOTE: I totally made that up. Probably being ninja'd as I type.

You also need to finish the task - have a fireman put out the KEM fire. It's not just the 300 medals.

Well normally when it's done the next collecting level shows up in the task bar but it's still at 300. I seem to remember this happened in a previous event.

Mine is stuck too. I have collected 300 medals and finished putting out the fire. Animation not arrived, and can't progress story

Try going into the character menu and seeing if there's a skin there to activate?
Have a sandwich before you then approach the problem anew with a fresh mind and a pulsating stomach?

Another thought ... Try going back and forth once to your friend screen. Mine popped up when I reentered my town after neighbor visit.

Make sure Fire Chief Moe completes the job. Homer and Apu completed but it didn't advance until I clicked Moe who was at a different Kwik'e Mart

Synching had no effect - until I sent Quimby for a checkup. He had been free after railyard tasks, but game didn't seem to think he was. Back to Krustyland and then next stage kicked off.

My update completely disappeared, no tasks, nothing. Even spend donuts on the car pile and skins. It's as if the update never started.

I even hard closed tapped out and uninstalled/reinstalled and still nothing.
Hopefully it'll be sorted in the morning :evil:

I lost all of my medals (270) when I switched devices, but it still showed that I completed the other task. Kind of annoying but I should be able to get them back fairly quickly.

It is always a good idea to force the game to synchronize (by visiting Krustyland or the friend screen and return) before closing the game and switching to another device.

Well the quest line seems to be moving again this morning but can't find the animation anywhere. I'll see what happens when I get to the fire engine. Don't want to lose out on that.

It's on fireman moes task list, it's 3 hours and pays out 50 medals, did that help or am I miss understanding the problem?
