What Percentage of Your Town is Decorated?

I purposely leave small areas not finished. If am fully complete on the design, down time will have less to do. Plus some things I am waiting to see what will come out next or haven't figured out the design.

Also have some temp design areas. Xmas area had to be downsized due to space/nasa area. It just has a few xmas decorations out rather than a thought out design. Will prob stay that way until next xmas.

Right now my town is the most completely designed it's ever been. Probably about 85-90. This is due to the multi-select feature, makes it much easier to move things around or change your mind.

ETA: temp designs take me a few minutes to do. The "creative" or thoroughly designed areas take me about an hour or more.

I have a small strip thats not decorated. Otherwise I am in constant design and redesign mode. The game has become a hobby and a creative outlet for me. Its what keeps me playing.

The majority of my town is decorated but there are still some areas that need decoration and others that are still being tweaked and have some extra decorations added, but trying to put a number on it isn't easy but I'll go with 85 - 90% complete, maybe slightly more.

    100% baby!

    Come on, EA:
More land, more feature count capacity, more events, more MORE!
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

My town is complete -- at least for the next few months before I redecorate -- but I like to keep a small patch of land free as a place to dump new buildings I haven't found a place for yet.

Said less than 20%. I nuked in January or December (very bad idea) - and have had little time to decorate. I do have like 60%-75% of the buildings PLACED where I want, but have not really added in all the greenery, vanity items, etc.

I want to be 100% - but seems this will forever be a goal.

Estimating somewhere between 25-50%. I nuked in January and have left the game a few times since then for extended periods as well. Most of my town has been put back together and I decorate in small sections and increments of time to avoid insanity.

About 90% decorated/designed with gaps for dropping in new things.

Less than 20%. I've had temporary sections designed until recently I finally accumulated the majority of land so I could place a town square in the middle with the Jedediah statue like the show. This was my main goal and now I'm starting to build out from this point. :)

I’ve been at 100% in the past, but right now I’m down to around 80 or 85% with work yet to be completed in Krustyland and along the margins of my Springfield. I don’t feel any great urgency to get back to 100%; I’d estimate I’ll be futzing around with the unfinished portions for at least a month or two.

I am probably around 90%. I purposely leave plots of land open for the constant influx of new content that we get. I hate having to move things around to try to find some space to drop a new building in.

90% but only have one town and never nuked. its been in constant upgrade and sometimes move or redesign areas as new land comes available. 10% is SH that seems to have become a dumping ground for buildings that havent found a perminate home yet

I'm under 50%, but probably more than 40%. I nuked during Act II the Casino Event, and I've been able to spend most weekends doing a little something. I'm just planning as I go, after blocking out my Squidport the way I wanted (still need like 50 tiles or so).

I'm very glad I nuked. I was somewhat happy with my setup beforehand, but after the most recent Fight Club, there were areas I'd wanted to greatly expand. My Monsarno area is very pleasing to me now.

By the way, I want to add how grateful I am to EA (and I think it was 4junk that originally suggested it) for the area select tool; especially coupled with the division of 'decorations' into 'nature,' 'walls,' and 'decorations' in the edit menu. I can imagine how freightening it must have been to pull the trigger on the nuke button in the past, but - for anyone that's thinking about it - these tools make it soooooo easy to arrange everything to your liking. In fact, they sort of make the nuke option obsolete in a way; giving you the ability to store everything you want from a 2+-land-block area at a time.

These are glory days, folks. I'm really lucky to have joined in when I did, because I now reap the benefits of the suggesions and complaints that you diligent tappers have been posting about for years.

Cheers to the lot of you!

I haven't decorated in like 2 years xD my Springfield is no half a town, half a hoarder's wildness. Before, I would let an event to finish to start decorating, but then I let pass decorating for about 2 events, and it became too much. It has now become way more and I'm too lazy to decorate as more and more new items keep coming out so fast. I don't want to nuke because I don't wanna redo the stuff that looks right, and I have so much stuff it would be no fun and more of a hassle to put it all down.

Maybe 70% I think. I work on it a tiny bit everyday, but I'm a bit ADD so I don't usually make a whole lot of progress.

Mine is around 75% decorated. It would be easier if I had extra land though. There are some things that aren't in their right places so I just don't bother decorating them until I find a permanent spot for them. Once I do I'm sure other things will need to be replaced. It's just a never ending vicious cycle.
