    I bought the Wilted Rose, no other donuts spent. I don't have any of the premium characters, buildings or items that help. Just play, always selecting the major carton trade and generous neighbors I guess. With the trade-in cap there really isn't any way to speed with donuts I see. I just figure most hard-core players would be at the same point.

    Are you maxing out your trade-ins daily? I think day 3 or 4 is when I started getting that out of stock message.

The most I've had is 45, multiple times, NOT INCLUDING Bandit Hideouts. But my first two was 42, when I likely tapped quicker, and 42 is a multiple of 6. That should be significant, given what we now know. It's entirely possible I was too slow to get a 45 count.

    Any thoughts?

    Well then, just as I predicted, after 7 hours there was 42 Bandits. I'm trying again after 8 hours, but I suspect 7 is the reasonable max, as I've found the "Full" message coming up after 7 hours 20 minutes.

    Oh that's okay then. For now I'm just getting the daily stuff. I'm probably behind somewhat, but I'll catch up later. Just have to beware not to be hamstrung by that trade-in cap. What's the tactic you're using for producing Pickaxes and Cowboy Hats?

    I doubt you'll get hamstrung if you aren't already maxing out daily. Extra trade space will carry over to the next day's cap. Just spend all you can each day is my tip.

    I keep my ratio of picks/hats between 2/1 and 3/1. I just switch task production back and forth based on that. Its been working fine for maxing out the daily trades in my town.

    I doubt you'll get hamstrung if you aren't already maxing out daily. Extra trade space will carry over to the next day's cap. Just spend all you can each day is my tip.

    The cap follows over? You reckon that's why I've just spent ALL my Pickaxes and Cowboy Hats (approx. 6,000 of both) and still didn't max out my cap, and now have no consumables!!

    Ok, so this identifies another glitch. Either you have a good one and your max. no. of bandits is ~42, or I have a bad glitch with a max. no. of bandits of 30 even if I leave my town for more 8 hours.

    What device are you playing on AO? I'm on an iPad Air on ios 9.3.1.

    I wonder whats more common, a mx of 30 or a max of ~42. Maybe I'll do a poll if I can work out how to create one :?

    Repost of accumulative totals for the General Store daily trade-in caps. Daily rise is somewhere between 2200-2600 clues.

    Clues received from bandits are separate and do not count against the trade caps.

    See, I don't think it's a glitch. I think the keys are the Bandit Hideouts. Okay, I'll try and explain what I think happens, but I've just woken up from a nap, and I didn't get much sleep last night, and this is kinda complicated-at least to my sleep deprived mind:

    Okay, before writing this, I stopped for 5 minutes, and I think I have a simple way of putting it: The Bandits from the Bandit Hideouts replace Bandits that would otherwise be roaming, meaning that in the long run, by tapping the roaming bandits and Bandit Hideouts together, you lose out on 12-15 bandits.

    Does this make sense???

    I'm just 1000 off from the final prize and would have it already if not for the cap. Has anyone finished the main prize track yet and confirmed that there is no Bonuts (I know the general store rewards 3 donuts on day 14, but this is not what I mean).

    If not, I think I will have actually LOST donuts due to this event. Normally I can leverage at least a donut/day with the daily challenges/swapping, but since the event started, a good 75% of the daily challenge rewards are just event currency. I've only made one donut by swapping out daily tasks since the event began 9 days ago. Even with the 3 donuts at day 14 I'm sure I would have gotten more donuts in the absence of an event.

    This is NOT me complaining or whining in any way, just pointing out that some events are great for donut revenue (eg. Casino) but this one is actually looking to be just the opposite.

    Hmm, just checking in from vacation and I see that there are no bonuts this time.

    I have been doing the daily tasks and have more than enough clues as I'm building the last building.

    So sounds like I should skip any future daily task in hopes of donuts. I did this once as I had lots of pick axes.

    I've been fortunate that I have timed my visits to max out my production. Plus I have mobile internet. :)

    So finished all days ago.. since no bonuts I've amassed 8000 axes and about 9100 hats... hopefully we'll be using these in act 2

    For the new Q and A thread, can we have in the first post: "you get to choose which resources to generate at the saloon". In big red letters or something.

    I have never seen so many people coming on to the boards saying they have loads of one and are short of the other and won't finish. It was easy to do even on freemium if people would follow the basic game mechanics - choose your resource, hand in large amounts as much as possible, click bandits, send prospectors. Very straightforward
