Great information for Idevices, but I play on my PC with Bluestacks. Because I play on my PC screenshots are easy and I can save them under a variety of formats. However I'm still not sure how to get them into these posts. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I was sent here via a link. It wasn't until after I posted that I seen Idevice was specified in the subject

I think it would be worth expanding to include how-to take the screen shot. You'd be surprised by how many people don't know how to screen capture on an iDevice.

Was reminded of this when visiting the competition facebook page posted on here in the last few days and noticed they had to post instructions of doing a screen capture.

I admit I haven't read this whole showcase sub-forum. i keep getting distracted with your amazing ideas, folks!

But I can't find a place that responds to this request to give instructions for doing a screen cap on an iPad. So far, my solution would be über bizarre -- I get my iPad screen just how I like it, take a picture of it using my Galaxy, hook my galaxy to my computer, upload the image to my Photobucket account, return to my ipad, and then use the instructions in the posts above this one to link that photobucket image to this page.

And just to prove what a total naïf I am about TSTO, I need to ask -- can I access my TSTO through my PC, or is it only available to me on my iPad. If its available on my PC, WHERE do I go to see it?

    Thank you!!!!!

To take a screenshot on iPad, tap the power button and the home button at the same time (the button on top, and the circle button at the bottom). There should be a flash and a camera shutter sound.

I downloaded the Imgur App, but it's asking me to login- how can we post a photo without having to use Facebook, Twitter or Google?

I just want to upload a photo of a car that I saw in one of my neighbour's Springfield's. it's pink and kind of rounded and it looks like it's a very futuristic car. It also has a kind of airplane engine in the back. I don't see it for sale in the premium section and I'm not sure which story it was from. Was it a promotion from another update? Has anyone else seen this car? I wish that I could upload a photo of it to show everyone.

Maybe I am just that stupid but do I have to put :| feeling a bit slow..." alt="at both ends of the copied link? Because I tried to put it only before the link and it didn't work... :| feeling a bit slow..." />Step 10: Now come back to the boards. Paste the link you just copied into the text box and put img] around the link. Then submit. It's that simple.

Question: How do I edit images on Imgur? Because often I'd rather not post the entire screenshot.

I went to post a picture that I uploaded and in the preview it was huge. Twice as big as anyone else's posted pictures. Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Also, how do you get the task bar and the part with your donuts ect to go away so they don't show when you screenshot.

Step 9 is your issue. He says to use "Original" but you should choose "Medium" and it'll copy a smaller version of your screenshot which should be the correct size for the forums (640 pixels wide).

If you have access to a laptop or computer, editing pics is a breeze. Upload your pic in your browser. Open a second window to imgur and drag the pic from window one to window two. Click "upload" and after you'll see an option to "Edit Image." From this point, you can easily crop/re-size/etc - just be sure to click "Apply" and "Save" and you're golden.

To avoid "Heads up display" you simply need to wait 5 or 6 seconds without touching the screen and it'll disappear on its own; then you can grab a nice clean screen shot

Of course, this also assumes you have image posting privileges. [/quote][/b]

What is needed to have image posting privileges?
