How many 'Fremium' players made it to Wes Doobner?

Got him yesterday, so was tight for freemium player. Plus I had a few days when I could only log on a couple of times a day due to family commitments. Have you claimed all your clues via the shop, I know that sounds silly to ask but my friend came over & she didn't realise that they were giving you clues as well, just that you had to use the hats & pickaxes to unlock the daily prize!

If you have then I don't think you're going to make it.

Freemium here and I'll get it today. I wasn't getting any prospectors in my town up to a few days ago, but was able to drop some. Make sure you get rid of them if you're way off getting the prizes as they really help to accumulate the pickaxes and hats, which you can then turn into clues

4.5k clues away from last prize only logging 2 times a day on freemium town, premium town got it a while back and has 14 K and 10 K axes and hats.

If it feels like you may miss it try asking friends for prospectors

Yeah i got the last prize early yesterday, didnt have any problems after working out how to get hats, and by that point i had 21k pick axes, so last part has been quite easy for me. However my mum who is also freenium, is about 3 prizes behind me and i would say plays bit more than me, which we can't really work out at all???

I am a wanna be freemium player but in a weak moment I will buckle. I need 1500 clues as of this morning to get to Wes Doobner. I was caught up with cash on Saturday. I guess I will have to spend money again to get to Wes Doobner. I am going to continue to grind when I can thru my workday to whittle down the cost of catching up. Hope Act 2 is not as difficult as it was for me to try to achieve Act 1. BTW I am accessing this forum on my Mac Desktop thru Safari. My iPad will not allow me to access the forum. Keep getting Oops message even after clearing the cache in settings.

I got it 2 days ago in my Freemium town. Just got the 3 donut prize as well. But I spend too much time playing this game.

Freemium here (ok I've bought doughnuts once in two years, IM SORRY!) ...

Made it day before yesterday, but I had Lurleen helping out.

It would have been close but I managed to finagle the company guest WIFI access last week so now I can check in during the day on my town (just twice a day after the daily resets and once in the late afternoon...I SWEAR!)

Got it yesterday morning in B town without any of the premium characters. Expect to carry about 1000 each of pickaxes and hats into Act 2

I'm premium, so I got mine like 4 days ago...4 boring days with nothing to do with no bonus rounds or crafting to work on.

But looking at my friends list, only about 50% have hit the final prize with only 4 or 5 even close enough to potentially get it by the deadline. The other 45% are either going to fall short, seem to have lost interest in the event already, or didn't find it interesting enough to bother at all.

I don't have any of the premium characters, and just got the final prize this morning. I have been trying to only make enough trade-ins to 1) get the daily prizes and 2) keep me at or slightly ahead of the calendar LPN posted. After getting Wes Doobner's, I had about 3500 axes and 900 hats left over.

It's not going to happen.

I just spen't all my axes and hats to get the 3x donut daily prize, and I'm still 900 from the 400 hat prizes. There's no way I'll get Wes.

I'm a freemium player and I got him with about 5 1/2 days to spare (I own none of the premium characters to aid this event).
Here's how I did it:
got the update on the first day
I logged in about 4 times per day
only purchased daily clues using the largest trade ins
only made hats
always sent prospectors to other towns 2 times a day (3-5 per town, paying attention to who is high on the leaderboard)

with that plan I was able to:
unlock Gummy Joe ASAP and get him earning materials quickly.
unlock Krusty Burger ASAP to get it earning bandits quickly.

I lucked out this time and didn't make any wrong turns

got him a few days ago, like 5 days ago i started hoarding prospectors so even without them i was able to get to the last prize.

I'm 1500 away, so hopefully I make it in time.

What's annoying me is I have over 2000 hats available to trade in but close to nothing on the axes. And guess what ALL 3 of my trade ins ALWAYS are? Axes :evil: It's really irritating

Erm, y-e-a-h you claimed the prizes, but did you continue to trade in/hand in the pick axes and hats after you claimed the prize?

How many pick axes and hats do you have right now?

Because just as Laura said there have been many many peeps who didn't realize you get clues from the General store, you just trade trade trade for more after you've gotten your daily prize.



I got the Rib Hut on Friday. I did have the Rich Texan, but I think I would have gotten Wes just as easy with out him.
