I have a problem finding the "big one"

Any hint? I have tried scrolling my SF in any direction, using the transparent view, or the normal one.. Up and down, lateral, diagonal scrolling.. I got all the miners, all the foes, but not the big one..

I have the same today. He will show up 24 hours after you last tapped him. There will be a notification pop up when he's back. And even then takes his time to show himself.

You need to wait for him to spawn
He does every 24 hours

I tried my best last night even after I knew he would have regenerated but never did find him. Picked up the search again this morning and still wasn't having any luck (turned off everything but people in the editor view). FINALLY found him in Springfield Heights area, in a section I hadn't decorated yet (no grass, at least 2-3 plots away from the closest road). I hope this helps some.

The best way to find the big guy is to go to your build menu and turn off everything but characters. Then search around until you see him. He'll be fairly obvious. Then exit the menu and tap him four times. He'll run each time but not far, you can follow him. And then it's done.

got the notification he was back in town, so I turned off everything but the people layer and scanned over the whole town a half dozen times but didn't see him...

went to krustyland to resync and when I came back, he was right in the middle of my old west town.... so maybe a quick run to KL and back might shake him out too.

He's found on the main roads like the rest of the characters if you give him some time. He likes to pick his moment.

I get the notification pop up when he is in my town, then I just scroll around usually he isnt too tricky to find. Turn off the buildings, etc to get a better view if it helps.

I think i came to the conclusion that when he's in town, there's an assignment to get him posted in the task book. Don't bother looking until then If you get the daily assignment, you just have to wait or skip it.

As I mentioned, I have turned of everything while looking for him, but I was not able to see him...
and because it was my daily to touch him, I was sure he was already there, somewhere... Probably the daily task is not in sync with the spawn clock, in fact this evening I got a new notification, and he was just on the screen, exactly where I was in that moment...
Well.. I hope someone else will find useful all your hints!

i dont usually have a problem finding him but behind monorail pillars is easy to miss though. once you've tapped him keep up with him, he's quick moving. once you've cleared him (tapped 4 times if i remember correctly) then 24 hours later you will get a reward poster notice to let you know he's back in town and active again

I have done all of the above and still have not found the guy. He is my daily challenge and now I'm not going to get it. I have been in and out of my game all day looking for him. When I click on his picture it just stays where I am. Not a happy player.

You don't have to do the daily challenge today, it'll be there in your daily challenge task board and next day will just bring you a new challenge to do. You can have all three boxes open. Often times I've just finished a task without even realizing, but I've had all three open a few times especially if I've been trying to get rid of of task I don't want to do (like earn SH currency and then get a new one for just cash or something equally boring) so I have to wait another day to x it.

re the BBB, I don't spend time looking for him as he always turns up sooner or later, no sweat.

Ironically as I was reading this thread a notification popped up on my phone saying he was in my town. I headed there, used the tip about turning off everything except characters and found him within 30 seconds. Every other day it has taken me hours to find him. I like this forum!!
