Wrong information about multiplier

It's a hidden multiplier on XP only. You won't see it listed.

Several people posted yesterday that SH buildings add to your multiplier but they must be displayed in your town to count. I stored buildings and checked, I brought buildings out of storage and checked, and I built buildings and checked and none of those actions had any effect on my multiplier.

So, are there any non-donut-wasting ways to increase the multiplier? I'm now at levels that cost 500,000 to advance so I'm looking to enhance XP.

    Thanks in advance for reply

That's why they are called "hidden multipliers". They don't show on your meter. As for other items, go to LPN's WALKTHROUGH (above) scroll down to 'items with $ and XP' There's quite a lengthy list.

Be on the lookout for items purchasable for cash or event currency during events. The Wild Wild West event had, for example, the cow tongues.

It's been a while but during tie-ins there are sometimes items with a small xp multiplier rewarded after completing a questline or for simply logging in during this time.

    Thanks, folks.

If you know, do the SH buildings have to be completely leveled up to get the hidden bonus, or is building a level 1 building enough to trigger it?

There's a list somewhere of which buildings have multipliers. The older buildings do not have to be past level 1, but the newer ones from the SH2 expansion, like the islands, have to be at least level 2.

I have to say this is totally not worth it.
I got into this game to make my Springfield the way I want it. The way I want it does not include house farms and 50 Springfield Heights buildings that have huge footprints.

All this for leveling up for 1 donut at 500,000 XP, which still will take forever, even with these gimmicks.

Some people love it, but this is not for me.

    Back to regular old TSTO.

I need them to get the Homerlayas and I don't feel like waiting two years to hit that mark at a level a day. It'll take a few months of grinding and using donuts on the XP collider but after that - all that SH crap is going back in my inventory where it belongs ><

We got 2 fire hydrants for free during the Fire Department event.
