Losing Hard or Hardly Losing?
Hi neighbour
Although I am winning most of the battles I've been fighting, the temptation to choose the somersault option was too great for me to resist.

To answer the question about why you would lose, you get the same bonus for winning a fight no matter how many times you lose, but you also get a bonus for losing. So if, to beat one group of felons, you lose twice and win once, you get two bonuses for losing plus the usual one for winning. You also still get the same prize for each point of damage you inflict on the felons. So it takes a while longer, but you get more bonuses if you lose as much as you can while still winning in the end.

I've purposely avoided the 'losing' strategy for a few reasons, and I'm only 1 round of bonuts behind you thus far. By the end of the Act, you may get one more over me; but all things considered, it doesn't seem like there is a HUGE gap between the losing strategy and winning whenever possible. I have 100+ wins, 0 losses, 0 retreats, and 0 regrets.
The idea is to lose intentionally so you engage in a greater number of fights than you would if you were winning them all the first time around, this pays out marginally better because you still get resources from the fights that you lose. Your fighters heal over time, the AI felon mobs don't. This is for fights in your own town, not social fights. It's much more labor intensive and requires more fighters, but for people who log in every hour or so it's worth it.
Loose means not tight.
Lose means not winning.
Loose sounds like moose.
Lose sounds like snooze.
Me fail English? That's unpossible.
Did my comment come across as teasing?
I added a helpful way that I remember which words are spelled correctly.
Misspelling are a distraction.
I haven't either and finished with 7 days left. I am thinking about using the strategy next act and see how much faster I get done.
Premium town was done about a week ago or so, doing 1-2 rounds of bonuts so yeah, im losing.
If i had more characters (wasnt here for Superheroes Pt I) id be LOSING hard right now for those sprinkles!
Anyways whatever floats your boat you know?
As long as people remember that there is an easier way to achieving all the prizes its ok, im actually having to choose the win option for freemium town now as its getting a tad overwhelming (keep you heroes at 4 hearts)
I don't see any reasons, let alone a "few", for avoiding losing, unless your one reason is to have fewer donut rounds?
losing takes time. lots and lots of time. A few bonut rounds aren't worth it to me, 99c premium scratcher pays about the same and I don't have to login every 1-2 hours.
I think it's cool that you can do it both ways, adds much needed variety to how you want to play the event. Either Casually, Hardcore Grinding, or a bit of both. It's a long event!!!
I'm with you.
1. I don't "throw" fights
2. I can spell
It literally takes 4.11 seconds to lose once, I just timed it with a stopwatch. You don't have to log in every hour at all. You can easily catch up logging in every 4 hours (I suppose only if you played the last Superheroes event or spent donuts on getting the characters from that).
By the way, OP, seems a lot of people like your spelling.
