Wow, it would seem some on here have all the answers (at least their writing suggests there are no flaws in their thinking as if it's all based on factual evidence). No need to look to the social/economic experts (or the world reaction for that matter) when all one must do is look to the EA forum for a variety of emotional thoughts on the subject.
Mind the gap - you'll really need to now.
But really who cares right? So long as William & Kate are ok that's all that really matters.
Phew! Crisis averted, I have Juliet's army. All we need to do is throw a blobfish at the enemy troops and they'll run away with their tails between their legs
a blobfish army!! That would freak them out!
@Nick 25-40s are fine, I'm in that age group myself - I meant like 70s plus when I said the older generations.
But you and lots of other Brexit ppl are now getting aggressive towards NI and Scotland for wanting to leave, that's weird. It's their own countries, they should do what they want. Everyone was begging Scotland to stay during their referendum and now people are turning on them? England thinks it's too important that's the problem.
Oh and the majority of immigrants in the uk come from countries outside of the EU anyway.
The argument on the older people not being clued up is nonsense. The majority of them were there during the good and bad times of yesteryear. They were there under the terrible years of Thatcher and her ill gotten policies. They didn't want to go back to that era it'll be the younger generation the under 30s who won't have a clue on her regime.
As for them wanting to leave us that's their decision. I've got Scottish friends and family who think that leaving us is a terrible idea and wasting their money and going against their wishes to stay in Britain and these are for the remain in eu campaign.
I know that a lot of people are coming to us that are non eu members but now that we'll have a better say on our borders will be better for us.
They're also the same people that voted Thatcher to begin with
Yeah they did but they didn't foresee what she had in store. They believed her lies like people belived Cameron's lies.

Wow is right! You must have no knowledge of World Affairs if the best you can do is try to insult people for having an opinion. Frankly, I'm shocked, but at least you follow Will & Kate.

I think we can all agree, the real question now is:
With the British economy in ruins for the foreseeable future... what should one buy that they've always wanted to?
How much for your Daleks? I'll take one of each color please.
Yeah they did but they didn't foresee what she had in store. They believed her lies like people belived Cameron's lies.
LOL like you've believed the leave campaign's? I'm sorry but this is too rich - Since this morning Danial Hannan, member of the conservatives and leave supporter, retracted his claim that a Brexit would reduce immigration. Nigel Farage admitted that the slogan on the "Brexit Bus" where they claimed they would spend an extra £50 million a day on the NHS was a mistake. The campaign has also taken back what they said about immediately pushing ahead with Article 50.
Case in point re: the older generation:
My grandmother, who voted leave, has said on many occasions that there hasn't been a good prime minister since Thatcher.
But of course, to any generalisations there are the MANY exceptions.
I DO take offence to your claim that because I'm under 30 I am completely clueless to her leadership. Why is ageism the only acceptable form of discrimination these days?
Who knows what will happen with all of this, and obviously the UK may do as they wish as they are a sovereign nation. But I do wish all the best for for all my European counterparts!
Yeah they did but they didn't foresee what she had in store. They believed her lies like people belived Cameron's lies.

Yes I did believe them but didn't expect this to happen the retractions. But your forgetting that David Cameron has promised the earth but later retract his promises. As for not wanting to push ahead with artical 50 is nonsense. We will go ahead with that but we waiting till we get a new prime minister.
As for that chart haha that's rubbish how can that say that life expectancy for the older generation be short when they can be around for at least 30 40 years. And to suggest that those people voted because they don't care about the younger generation that's stupid because they have grandchildren and so on and they want what's best for them.
Ok I take back what I said about younger people but what said about ageism and discrimination don't you think that your discriminating against the older generation with that thing you added?

The fact they have retracted so many things one day after the referendum should ring alarm bells. As you said, people believed thatcher and her lies -that's why they voted for her, but you've agreed (with your comment above) that you believed the leave campaigners lies too, so who is to say that this will end any differently?
The chart is showing the average age expectancy in Britain which is 81. Obviously some will live longer, some less, that's why it's an average.
Yeah they did but they didn't foresee what she had in store. They believed her lies like people belived Cameron's lies.

At the time I didn't know they were lies that's why I was believing what was being said. How do you know that Cameron wouldn't have done the same if the remain had won. I know that because of his track record. everyone uses dirty tactics.
so the older generation shouldn't be able to vote cos they are old and are voting because they don't care cos in a few years they will die. Rubbish they vote cos they as I keep saying they are looking after their interests of their grandchildren and so on. But stigmatising them as racists is wrong I have neighbours who are of that age because where I live is an little area that is for old people I've gotten to know them and are in no way racist. Don't label them racists who don't care because they are not all and do care. It's like your discriminating and others who posted against the older generation.
I can't say it will end different because am not physic if I was I'd be a trillionair as I would have won lotteries after lotteries and would have beaten bookies. Here's what I believe will happen. Once we have triggered the leave article 50 we will be negotiating our deals try and stablze the economy and deal with other issues. Then have a bright future for us and future generations.
Never trust what a politician says -- period. Trust yourself by doing independent research and use logic (not emotion) when making decisions. Far too many people simply follow the herd without thinking for themselves (the majority base their decisions purely on emotion & those they think they relate to (public figure(s)). It will never change.

I'm even agreeing with you!
+1 Example: I really wish that here in the States we could keep Hollywood people out of politics.
Oh wait...would that include Trump?

Correct: Never trust a politician. For some reason people are always shocked when they are caught lying.
Right?!
@ Nick I have family members directly affected by this, as well as my own future plans (though these are future plans so I wont count myself) so it's pointless trying to convince me. Peoples lives I care about are being f-ed over by ppl who are voting for all the wrong reasons. At times like this I WISH I wasn't British, but I am so hey-go. As long as people who don't want to work can kid themselves that it was immigrants taking the jobs they didn't want who cares  and claiming benefits at the same time... Which is it? Stealing our jobs or stealing benefits? I get confused seeing as they contradict themselves.
Can the next referendum be to lose the monarchy please? Although the same people would only vote to keep those pointless people in.
And can ppl stop saying "we" voted to leave !! It was almost 50%/50%!!
