What about a mall update?

I have thought about this too! I think its a great idea because there are so many good store name gags they could use.
I thought we could use the existing mall, but when you tap it, it works like Krustyland, where you go 'inside' the mall.
I think most people didn't like the loading feature of going to a new place though. I'm not sure how it would play out and how they could make it "fun". Send characters on shopping sprees? max out credit cards for reward points? Make bullies Get stuff at a Four-Finger discount?

That sounds like a great idea. But even if we only get the outside of the mall I would be happy.
Imagine how you can create your very own mall with different sections, and build a parking lot around it.

Not sure about a mall or not myself but I'd give it a go if it happened, managed to make room for countless prisons and casinos so I'm sure that I can find space for a couple of malls, thinking about it I'd most likely place it in my upper class shopping area that is Springfield Heights.

you wouldn't have to switch back and forth annoyingly like Krustyland if...... you (and Bart and Lisa) were locked inside the mall for a week by mistake as it was being renovated! (Ben Stiller Night at the Museum themed tappables, with mall rat stereotypes.) The kids then let more kids in (Jimbo), until adults start to find the secret entrance and the coolness factor fades. Then the challenge Bart faces is to break out of the mall by stacking event currency boxes until he can reach the open sky roof window. Then Sideshow Bob strikes.

Where Bart and Milhouse force themselves to get trapped in a mall to avoid getting beat up by Nelson in summer camp.

Good episode, i would suggest some references to it, such as : Postcards from Vitamin Barn, or the Puma chief wiggum releases in the mall to hunt down Bart and Milhouse.

some good items in that episode the dancing Buzz Cola Can or the Weasel ball toy thats secretly a weapon.

that said, if Bart didnt want to escape the mall when a wild puma was hunting him down, i doubt he'd want to leave when there is remodeling done, youd have to coerce him to leave some Radioavtice man item or the chance at a prank? Towards Homer or Principal Skinner, or both.

Would the rewards be stalls or actual shops, most shops within the malls have been released as separate buildings, but this could be an excuse to releas some more or re-release some older ones.
