Well I just finished the Springfield Games Event just two days, part in help from the first task glitch where everyone could be sent on a task for ribbons. Even without that glitch though, I would've easily finished this before next week. I do enjoy these mini events (It's better than nothing in between major events) but i'd wish they would either add content, or shorten the timeline of them. Now I have to wait until August 16th for new content. Oh well.
Better to be to easy than next to impossible to complete, for every person that says an event is to easy several other will complain that they never manage to finish an event or struggle with it, oh and you might have to wait even longer than the 16th as the only thing announced for the 16th is that older OS will no longer work with Tapped Out.

TBH I like it this way. Long event followed by easy short event (just like the last one.. the theme escapes me now). Two or three days to complete and then a nice break. My town is an absolute wreck after these strings of events so I will take advantage of the break for some rebuilding.

Yeah, I don't mind it either. Typically these events come out on Tuesday and are finished by the weekend although they allocate two weeks to complete it. Looking forward to some downtime.
    I like routine!

A little downtime is fine sometimes. Or KEM-farm time, as I now know it.

Yeah, I'm done. And I've had limited internet access this week. Two weeks seems WAY too long for this event.

Yeah don't mind it. I'll probably be done by tonight which is gods seeing as I could bro much since it started. As long as it's fun I don't mind it being easy. I don't really want to be grinding and grinding a day or two before the even finishes.

try playing less, this will make the events seem longer
    try not exploiting glitches
take some of whatever meds your doctor has prescribed in the correct dosage
take time to reflect on your past Tapped Out accomplishments
start another account so you have twice the work to do on events
attempt to realize that the game is free to play and constant content updates 24/7 is just not going to happen
leave mini-events alone for casual gamers and people who just enjoy the game
let people who want to knock themselves out for a couple of bonuts on the main events do so

I can only imagine what it would be like if EA game designers tried to accommodate every complaint voiced on this forum.

(Overheard at the EA team meetings...)

"Ok gang, the forum feedback indicates we're making the game too easy. Time to crank up the difficulty"

"Ok gang we're making the events too long for the people who get bored easily"

"Ok gang we're not giving the people with real lives enough time to win everything"

"Ok gang, we've drawn the conclusion that the forum is full of whiners. From now on, we just can't trust the forum as a source of usable feedback, so no point in reading anything there anymore"
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

I've always preferred some down time. So many new items and skins, can barely find time to enjoy them all.
Also need to work on organizing and designing my town to fit in all the new content.
    Mini events are welcomed.

I think it's great that enough time is allotted that players who are traveling (especially this time of year for many of us) can catch up. Yes, there are still areas on this planet with no internet or mobile access :D

It’s not that users are “whiners”; it’s just that users have conflicting wants. There’s no pleasing everyone in these kinds of situations.

    Right on!

Plus the fact that some people play to relax not to bring the rat race to a game.
I HATE CRAFTING. CRAFTING? Bah! Humbug!

I'm still working on it. About halfway through the final prize. Just as long as I'm done by Monday so I can go after the monorail tracks and doughnuts. I don't want any one tied up. Saving all doughnuts for Halloween!! Although I did by the flags. Couldn't pass up all the bonus XP for 50 doughnuts.
