Fairly sure that you get the same amount of currency if you tap or use the digital Ben, think it's more of an idleness / easier thing rather than waiting for them to congregate or search a simple tap does the job, I've bought it because I can't guarantee that I can get on every 4 hours so just a quick tap when I get to to clear the robots.

I thought I read that it would display the time of day its only showing a count down of 59 minutess and seconds? Did i read it wrong or does that happen after the event?

OP, I think it will be exactly the same. Not sure how it works, but every hour you should have 20 robots to tap so just use the Big Digi Ben then to kill all 20. Alternatively, you can wait until 80 have spawned after 4 hours and use the PolyVac, I think it's more or less the same.

The countdown is until you can destroy all robots in the area using the Big Digi Ben, and yes, you are correct, after the event the time will be shown on the clock

Eventually you run out of room for robots, so clearing them more frequently means you collect more robot parts and currency.

I've been getting 30-40 cleared per hour, so if I wait for the Scifighter to clear everything I would lose a lot of valuable currency.

ETA: Oh, and it doesn't clear an area. It clears the whole town.

looks like 2 lego pieces from different sets jammed together. Single parent families these days will tell you that just because something is phallic doesn't mean it's essential. Even with a clock in town, won't I still have to scroll to see the time, which is very similar to getting up to look at the clock across the room.

Posted this in another thread, there's no multiplier for it either. The only real appeal to buying it is the look of the building imho.

Is there any benefit to this for the event seeing as the scifighter clears all robots every 4 hours. I bought it anyway because the clock is a cool idea but I hope tapping it every hour isn't wasting time.

Can someone second/confirm that they're also clearing more than 20 per hour?? If so, then this might be worth it.

How does it work, btw? Once an hour does it autocollect or do you have to log on every hour and tap the building??

Yes, I'm using your town. It works perfectly! A bit laggy to get in...but I don't mind because you have a lot of stuff :P
