I've given up
This is the 5the event where i never even get the last two prices of every act.
As i said this before i have a family and work that take up most off my time (gladly)
Playing every event and every act so fast after each other takes the fun out of it.
I will not play every hour.
So i gave up ... I kem farm for donuts and see what i can get for Them

Any one else feels this way or has any thought on this?

Sorry tapper

Same here! And now we can't even choose what we want to craft either.
Likely I won't be able to craft the last two prizes, but EA made me waste a lot of points to "level up"
Plus I have more than 15,000 useless future bucks! What are the for? To have the Devs laugh at us? Thanks for nothing EA.
    I've stopped buying donuts. :(

You really don't need to play every hour to get everything. I play around 3-4 times a day and always get every prize.

The game has to have a cuttoff point at which point a level of activity is no longer good enough to achieve all prizes.

Let me ask you a question ... Do you feel you are active on tapped out enough per day that you feel you truly deserve all the prizes??

Please remember that there are many levels of players all playing under the same rules. If I could complete all prizes in 2-3 days instead of 10 out of the 14 allowed its really not a very interesting game to higher level players.

We've all been there. When I started they had The Stone Cutters event going on. In addition to being new I had a vacation in there which limited what I could get. My advice is don't get hung up on getting everything. Most will go into storage. Just enjoy the game at your pace and enjoy your down time outside of the game. The longer you play the higher likelihood you'll receive all the prizes fairly easy. Hang in there. Don't get discouraged.

Note sure about the wasted points on leveling up. By crafting items you leveled up. If you just used parts to level up by clicking the 'number' needed you missed a big part of how this worked, and that was covered in the walkthroughs and tons of posts. Hope that didn't happen to you. I have used future bucks to craft a ton of cash earning items for my freemium town and its actually earning a ton of cash and xp now.

    To the OP:
I hear you. I have found in the last few events there was no way for my freemium town to get the last couple of prizes, even logging in 4 or 5 times a day. The difference in my main town was the extra 20 or so premium characters, who not only add to earning power, but do it at double the rate. My personal opinion is that with the huge number of avenues to free donuts, EA is expecting us to have premium characters to succeed. This event I have not missed a day of 4 times logged in. I got the last prize of act one with 40 minutes to spare. When I get enough donuts built up in that town I will start farming KEMs with the collider on and it will join the premium group.

As much as I love the events I am also finding the never ending grind is wrecking the fun. Gone is the time when we get down time to actually design and have fun. Part of the issue there is the never ending I'm bored when is something going to happen threads that start before each event even ends. I actually enjoy the event, and don't see it as a get everything as fast as you can then complain type of game.

As in any game there are vastly different styles of players and its hard for EA to strike a balance but the pace now seems to be scaring away and burning out those of us who cant spend hours a day, or don't have 3 or 4 times a day to log in. Unfortunately I don't have an answer, but you are definitely not alone in your thoughts. I really hope we get NOTHING ELSE until Halloween to allow some breathing time.

Sorry for the long post, but its one of my very infrequent long rants

I only play every FOUR hours and managed to get President Lisa today.

OP, it's very disconcerting to keep missing out on the final prizes. I understand that. It's never happened to me aside from my very first event when I was locked out from continuing because I was lower than level 22. Every time I see that everyone else seems to have the opera stage or SSB's dad...not upset, but envious a little. Maybe it's okay to live with a little envy, like a bit of motivation. As you've seen others say, it is possible to complete these acts as long as you pop in 3 or 4 times a day and maybe spend 15 minutes total collecting currency. Though, premium characters really do help. Just get one next time and enjoy the event at a more leisure pace. I hope you take your break and enjoy it and then come back for the next event, or the one after that. Whenever you're ready.
If I could complete all prizes in 2-3 days instead of 10 out of the 14 allowed its really not a very interesting game to higher level players.
Higher-level players always have to figure out what to do in down time. Designing, perhaps?

Tapping critters is boring, but at least they brought a way to zap everything at once. I think the Big Ben is a good buy because you can be sure you aren't letting any get away.

Hopefully the bring something like this to all events with roaming critters.

I think this is the very first time I have been negative towards a poster on this site ..... Complaining about not getting every prize then stating you play 15 mins a day is beyond absurd.

Whats wrong with the GIF? its an oldie, but a goodie as they say.

osg, i always get bummed when i see these types of threads but completly understand where your coming from. my thought is maybe take a break for awhile and take care of real life but try coming back after a period of time with a renewed intrest in the game. for some its a month, others its a year off. That has helped many players thinking of quitting according to their personal accounts. Another thought is that you must care somewhat for the game or you probably wouldn't have posted here and deleated the game without caring about our opinions or input on the subject. Genuinely hope you don't quit for good but if you do, don't forget the forum will be here to help you get back into it if you change your mind

I so understand how you feel, and I don't know how long you've been playing, but I joined somewhere around the first monorail event. Think I had been playing a couple months or something and I had a bear of a time getting through it. I just accepted that I wasn't going to get "all" the prizes and enjoyed the design part of the game. By the end of the event I had gotten enough that I had the stations and enough rail to put them together. I also had the recycle buildings but didn't get the rail yard. Was totally bummed because that meant I also couldn't create more rails (actually at the time I didn't realize the rail yard continued to make tracks till I saw other towns with what appeared to be miles of it.)

The next few events I also didn't get the final prizes, by then I was getting the first act final prize but not second- then first and second but not third. See where I'm going with this? Eventually I built up enough characters and collected donuts along the way to get further, now I can usually get all the prizes by the end (but not always)

The fun is in playing with what I have and enjoying the silliness of it all. If it's only about winning everything all the time then that's a shame and sure that can't be any fun. Yes, I totally envy the towns that have cool premium characters and buildings I can't just buy, but one by one I'm collecting the ones I want and lovin' designing and redesigning my town.

Probably doesn't help you worth a crap but this is such a better game then most and hope you enjoy it more as you build up.

I have no idea how anyone is having problems with this event. All you need to do is log in 5 times a day, 30 seconds each time. Your life is really so busy that you can't spare 30 seconds? You can't do what you need during a bathroom break? This is possibly the easiest event so far in terms of how much time it requires from you.

    Hey guys,

Tnx for the support and kind words
I've been playing Tsto for +4 years now. ( abit before the stonecutters event i believe) Mostly freemium, but went premium with the last barney deal.
I have a fear few premium characters and i log in 2 or 3 times a day (4 or 5 on a free day) for about 15 min or more a day.
I have quit the game once for about 6 months ( techn. Problems) and gave up,on neighbours visits a year ago ( to timeconsuming sorry to my loyal neighbours)
So i have been around long time. I mostly got all the prices of the events so i think i can say i log in quite enough.

Maybe im getting old but if there is an event before halloween im just gone nuke an redo my whole town instead of the event. I never get around doing that anymore. But i do really like decorating my town.
Its like the game isnt giving me anything back except i i spend donuts.
This event again, i still need 3 prices of the second act and every time i play the sci-thingy i get like 30 robots.
Every log in i spend 5 min chasing robots in my town and barely see my robotsparts get up in numbers.
I do not need to get every price or craft everything ( some will end up in storage like mentioned here) but not even been able to get the cool stuff in the end really kills the fun if i put in extra effort.

In all fairness, logging in 5X a day is no cakewalk. But I do 3-4X and will still get Lisa. I doubt Act 3 will be any different

5 times? Nope sorry, i'm unable to conecct during work time and have toddlers that follow me to the bathroom so thats no option
30 seconds? Its takes that long to load my game... And i need cash so i need to collect.
I log in 2 to 3 times a day for about 15 min to max 30 min

All I can say is play when you can I guess...from what I read you certainly have no time at all for events. It is true they like to throw out events directly after eachother. Except for after Halloween...because The Thanksgiving ones were never exactly major events and probably never will be. So between end of Halloween and Dec1 is a big gap of absolutely nothing usually.
    ~Always be Designing~
Don't increase the Item Limit? Then I don't play. Period.

lots of the good prizes aren't at the end of the prize track anyway. This morning I already caught myself chanting "Mech Mech Mech Mech" under my breath, for example. Stick around for that at least!
