Crazy Plane - Where's the airport?

there actually needs to be an event where we can get multiple items for an airport such as:
- watch tower
- hanger
- runway
etc

an airport as 1 item would be too small

I chain link fenced in a strip of concrete during the casino event and use the Players Club Tower as a watch tower but partially hid the base of tower to look not like a casino building

I'll get it but it goes right into storage since I have not made a custom airport for my aircraft items....and I got no room to make one either. I'm on the verge of capping the item limit again so...I got to be careful.

I built an airport out of the space shuttle, NARA and rocket ship stuff. So helicopter, planes etc are there. A real airport would be really cool with runway lights, asphalt with arrows painted on, wind socks, etc.

Definitely need an airport oh and some "dropped" luggage decorations

My airport has the Sit n Spin as a tower, the Springfield skating rink and the Ziff tennis court are the hangers (with the names disguised by equipment and hot air balloons. I agree more official-looking items would be great, but I also am skeptical that an all-in-one prebuilt airport would be large enough. Modular items such as that in the space port would be better.

I suppose you could use a bunch of orange cones or casino ground lights to create a runway area on concrete. Then... there's various helicopters and junk to place on the tarmac.

Maybe you could create a bigtime airport terminal out of Parcology building in the middle and surrounded by an arrangement of these new sci-fi buildings???

You'd think one of the many buildings we've got would look like a hanger we could line up in bunches. But it's eluding me. .....Ahh, from reading the topic:

My airport is a combination of Sit n Spin, El Chemistri, Up Up and Buffet!, Cones, spot lights, concrete paths, chain wire fence, road block / safety barrier thingys. All my aircraft are on the run way...

Yeah, I mentioned 4 or 5 months ago we need an airport or buildings to build are own.

I agree. We need special airport track that we can place ourselves, like we do roads. And all the buildings that come with it so everyone can customize it they way they see fit.

Gotta wonder how it'll fit into the limited space we have.

And we need to be able to place the airplanes, helicopters, cars etc. on the airport tracks.

Well I just got the plane and in all honesty it would never be seen in an airport lol, think I might make some space around my junk yard/recycling centre as that's a much more suitable place for it, oh if you tap on it it's animated but I'll not say what it does so as not to spoil the animation for anyone.

I just got this also. It's more of a crash victim, so I made a crash site using the rock formations from the Western event, campfire, trees.

I like it and this point in the quest line makes me want to stop kem farming ....it looks great to see 25 completed.

just got it also, yeah, looks like with more land im going to start a junkyard with the plane, spruce caboose and other items im not thinking of now. Maybe Cletus can start a new buisiness venture I like it, really like the nose of it but not airport decoration to me.

I know what you're talking about without giving away too much, I put a bunch of my KEMs all around my town behind various buildings.

If this is more like a plane crash, perhaps I could put together a Lost theme, if it'll fit somewhat on the beach.

That's a really good idea. I just checked and it can be placed partially on the beach area.
