Apparently some jerk (he/she is probably a nice person) somewhere decided to change all the Zodiac signs. So for many, many years I was a Libra now I'm a Virgo. I am outraged. Okay, I'm not outraged. I don't even really care to tell the truth. I just figured everyone should know, in case someone wanted to be outraged about something.

Here's the new list I stole from the Washington Post
  • Capricorn: Jan. 20 to Feb. 16
  • Aquarius: Feb. 16 to March 11
  • Pisces: March 11 to April 18
  • Aries: April 18 to May 13
  • Taurus: May 13 to June 21
  • Gemini: June 21 to July 20
  • Cancer: July 20 to Aug. 10
  • Leo: Aug. 10 to Sept. 16
  • Virgo: Sept. 16 to Oct. 30
  • Libra: Oct. 30 to Nov. 23
  • Scorpio: Nov. 23 to Nov. 29
  • Ophiuchus: Nov. 29 to Dec. 17
  • Sagittarius: Dec. 17 to Jan. 20

Edit: Full disclosure, I got bored with the article and didn't read the entire thing so this may not even be true

  • Well, the Zodiac system was based on the stars, which are constantly in motion and changing.

I wish I wasn't Taurus. Out of all the crappy cars they could've picked... :unamused:
  • SonOfAFemaleDog I'm a Libra now? but all my Scorpio horoscopes are always so right about me meeting new people and being stuck in traffic and what not. :sunglasses:
  • I object.

  • For people into this thing (astrology)---- we have known of the 13 sign that was taken out during the switch to a 12 month calendar for a while...It's just ignored to stay in the 12 calendar cycle.... I for one, like being Ophiuchus now... nice y'all caught up with the rest of us :D
  • I was on the cusp of Capricorn/Aquarius. Now I am on the cusp of Sagittarius/Capricorn. I am sure that my personality will need to change to fit my new astrological sign.
  • No, they didn't.

"NASA has not changed the signs of the zodiac. Also, the scientific agency has not decided to shift its focus from factual research to studying Harry Potter.

The misunderstanding seems to have come from a NASA Space Place page for kids, written back in January this year. The writer for Cosmopolitan has taken information from this page and used it to make their rather bold claim."

This has been popping up way too much.

  • NASA doesn't need to agree for it to be a thing lol
  • I've known about this for a while now... and I still go by my "old" sign. But quite honestly - my "new" sign makes more sense for my personality. :)

  • NASA doesn't need to agree for it to be a thing lol
Yeah. My dumb rocket is on fire half of the time anyway...

Here's what i think about this weird stuff...

    1. Most of the stuff we read associated with the topic is just fluff.
    2. The signs HAVE actually shifted their positions since the sun sign structure originated, because the galaxy is moving. Which explains this new list. But most sources ignore this since they're already ****.ing you, so why get technical.
    3. There is definitely an effect, we've all seen it, when the moon is full, or some other similar condition, where animals and people act differently or unusually, in concurrence with celestial or astronomical cycles. Why wouldn't planet and star position have an effect on your composition at creation? Just as likely as not...
    4. Yep, I'm a cancer. Not proud of it, but the stereo types exists for a reason. Most of us would agree.
    5. Ya never know. We don't know sh!t. Rly.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

I wonder if aliens look at the stars and make horoscopes for themselves... (imagine thinking emoji here)
  • I couldn't care less. It's a load of nonsense to me.
