Why isn't this going away?

I still have the shx4 and the October 4th event......how can I get them to go away? Do I have to get the buildings for it to go away? Do I have to update my game? I don't think I was on when the glitch occurred.

Edit: sorry,I didn't think before I posted this.I thought this would go away after the 4th.I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining>.< I'm sorry. I didn't know it if I was bugged or not.

Second edit: oh crap.....I feel stupid ****....I didn't look at today's date e.ei thought the 4th had passed. Can a forum mod delete this please?

Are you talking about the pop-up informing you that SH jobs payouts are quadrupled?

It's likely it'll go away in a couple of hours (when the timers for the rebate deals end).

People, please read the whole posting before you reply. She had her days mixed up. She thought it was the fifth. This caused her to wonder why the stuff that was supposed to go away on was still there. Don't jump on her as a complainer, laugh with her through her senior moment.
