Actually, I'm going to refuse to spend another dollar on this game until this is repaired, and I have a gift voucher for AppStore that I recieved today. If it is refunded/reinstated, then I will reconsider. This is terrible to reduce everyone's percentages and Increase the XP needed to level up by a factor of 10 simultaneously.
Signed. I'm so ******* mad. I was saving my donuts for my first Halloween event but I decided to buy 2 of those things just for the XP bonus... Now it doesn't worth it....

Did you just buy the donuts to get the beach hideaway? If not - iTunes will give you a hard time, they can't see you've been holding donuts since the last purchase... you may still get the refund from them - but you will have to argue
Don't expect iTunes to return money, for exactly what you said here, there were other things I bought. However if enough of us complain to the money handlers, they will apply pressure to EA. Same with BBB, don't expect them to restore the purchase but will add pressure.
This is unethical (they don't care) bad business (might care) and becomes a causable action. That verges illegal/false advertising/fraud. To just me it's small scale but to all of us, that adds up. Maybe I live in a different world, but my little foot is down. And I don't believe for one second that they care about what we say here. Forum is proof of that, not one issue has been addressed has it?

So, EA’s strategy was to add a high percentage to the huts to lure donut farmers away from some of their "ill gotten" donuts ( because they knew donut farmers would go for that outrageous bonus ), and we could get the add ons because of the increase in SH materials. Knowing that our 200 donuts spent would essentially be worthless once the bonus was dropped and the increase of 9 million was added to the xp bonus requirement.

Oh, absolutely, this is fraud. You can't charge people for something and then one you've collected their money take 75% of it back.

EA really lost some trust today. Do they care enough to fix this mess they've made. They've penalized the users for their own mistakes. It's actually pretty gross.
