Thats correct. This chart shows how much you should have of the currency at the end of the day and which item you get that day.
With 3406 films you are just a bit short of getting the town square, but you dont get it yet. At the end of the next day you should have 6816 films, which is a lot more than needed for the town square. But you still will get the town square at this day (early in the morning).

So the chart is correct.

Does anyone else feel like they're not getting currency quickly? I feel this way nearly every event and always finish in time, but this time it really feels like things are dragging. Especially with the multiple currencies. Am I being paranoid again?

Thanks LP. It's good to know I'm about a 1/2 a day ahead especially considering I'm on Android and didn't get the update until late on the 4th so I should be able to keep up.

I'm about 1k ahead and I too, missed the first day completely. The in-game update didn't happen until the morning of the 5th. Still, I'm not worried about the pace of this event. So far, looks like I'll be at the end easily.

I do have Booberella and Suzaane the Witch though-- that helps!

Me too! Really thought I was behind but I'm a good bit ahead! Obols, on the other hand keeping me behind on MAG too. Need those silly trick or treaters.

Every time an event drops I'm worried that I'll fall behind, but it's always fine And I know I know it's still only Act 1 and we'll probably have Obols aplenty by the end of this.
Buuut Obobols! More Obols for more trick or treaters!

I was too busy to play on Friday so when I opened the game the next day I would've had 10 monsters to attack but only five characters to beat the scrap out of them.

Yay, I am well ahead for act 2's schedule, I am currently at 24446 Clapboards so far.

You could now unblur the items for act 2, as we are in it already. But thanks for that calendar, I refer to it daily (and I think it's easier to get ahead in act 2 than it was in act 1).
