Can't get the Gilded Truffle to start building

After you build the Downs and do your first bet, you should be triggered for other responses. Here's the sequence:

1. Send Homer to Springfield Downs (3 hours)
2. Send Homer to Kwik-E Mart (1 hour)
3. Build Gilded Truffle (keep Marge & Homer free as build finishes)

You can try sending Homer to the Downs to see if that starts anything. If not, keep Marge and Homer free, put the Downs into storage for a moment, then put it back out. That may start the exchange.

It didn't work. This is very frustrating. Thank you for your suggestions. I'll try again tomorrow.

Store Moe's as this is marge's building. She should get homer to start building

I had the same problem. What fixed it for me was clearing out any tasks on the bar that remained for Marge. I hadn't finished building the hair salon. :roll: Once I did that and did the associated tasks, BOOM, there went the gilded truffle task. I didn't see a need to build the salon right away so I was holding off on it. Turns out it was holding me up. You may have a different task holding you up. I had posted the same question on here. I'm sure you can find my thread on here if you searched for it.
