Stop excluding some players with these bundle only offers

I don't understand a business model that only offers premium game content to select players and excludes other players because they own an item that's in the bundle.

Just offer the items individually to the players who own part of the bundle.

The current bundle strategy is not good:

1. It cuts down on money (donuts) players are spending in the game.
2. It prevents some players from being purchase to content they would liek to have.
3. It creates negative feelings.

Personally, I'll be excluded from purchasing most of the THOH bundles*, as I already own a unique item in every bundle - yet there are items I'd love to be able to buy.

THOH Bundle 1 - I own the Ghost Airship & so I can't get the Ghost Zapper.
THOH Bundle 3 - I own the Bad Dream House & so I can't get the Springfield Cemetery.
THOH Bundle 4 - I own the Devil Flanders/Talking Krusty Doll& so I can't get the Burns Monster.
THOH Bundle 5 - I own the Formless Terror & so I can't get the Freak Show Tent.

*Of course, only theorizing that EA plans additional bundles.

These aren't critical game play items, but I'd like to at least have the same opportunity to purchase this content as players who came into the game after I did - early players, won it; late players get the chance to buy it & mid-way players get nothing.

I completely agree. I want the raven and devil flanders but most likely wont get them because of the others I already own. EA should fix this. I would assume they'd make more money.

Same! I've been saving donuts for Halloween and Christmas but I can't spend it on the items I want if they're bundled and not even offered

I agree even though I don't have any of the uniques yet. Seems it would be easy enough to offer the other items alone.
Am I correct that you can get the bundles if you have something other then the unique item?

I agree too. Just doesn't make sense to me, even from a business point of view, EA must be losing out on Donuts spending with this daft method.

Yes, you should get the bundle offers if you own any number of the non-unique items in the bundle - for example THOH Bundle #1 is available to players with the multiple mausoleums, but it's not available to players with the Ghost Airship.

Agreed. They are actually losing out on getting us to spend our donuts by doing this.

I can completely understand offering the items in bundles (so people spend more donuts on stuff they don't really want/need) but not offering ANY of it if you have just ONE of the items? That's ridiculous. EA are losing out on money by punishing us for having stuff in the bundle. It should all be available separately if you already have one of the items offered!

I think I'm missing each item that the OP is missing. I did purchase the 1st bundle since I was missing the Ghost Ship, glad to have gotten a deal on it. Would love the Freak Show Tent and Burns Monster.

Overall I'm enjoying the event, very excited about the *possibility* of getting Count Burns and Booberella.

agreed. individually offered items make more sense, the bundles are a great idea if individual items are offered also

I agree. Lots of people will be missing out on some of the rarer items of the game.

I do like that EA is releasing multiple smaller bundles consisting of past events' items, spread of the course of an event. Gives the newer players a chance to get some great looking items.

Off-topic but could you please put a spoiler on the unreleased bundles?

I think it would make sense, as one of you lot said, where the oldest players won everything (no bundle offered because nothing to offer, literally), the newest players get offered the full bundle (buy it all, you missed out, should invent a time machine and play 4 years ago)...and lastly, the mid players should get each item offered individually, as they used to do. They have earned the right to make a choice (instead of a spending more inside a bundle) since they played the previous events or bought a premium item when on resale. Who cares if they don't buy all 4 items in a bundle...right now they are buying 0 items. DUMB, EA. Fix it. (Also, I want my Marge Witch cauldron!)

Right now only the THOH Bundle #1 is active - you can only see it if it's available to you. Other bundles will be visible/available to you at various times in the event if you're eligible to purchase them.

Agreed. Being unable to buy the bundles simply because I own one of the items included in the bundle is extremely annoying and frustrating.
