MAG Point issues?

I don't seem to be getting any MAG points from crafting items that I already had from previous events in the game and was wondering if anyone else has been having this problem. Like for example, I already had the spooky house, dead trees, castle walls and more in my Springfield and for those items it won't let me receive MAG points...even though I haven't crafted any yet in this event. Anyone else seeing this or are having this happen to them?

Thats how it works, you do not get MAG points for crafting old items just the new ones

Only the items that are new to the event give MAG points. The old items that are being offered for crafting are not supposed to give MAG points as far as I know.

Oh I see. Just wanted to double check because it seems to be taking me forever to complete the MAG section

A lot of people are having the same problem. The only quick way around it is to buy some premium items that come with MAG points
