No beasts in town

I haven't seen any beasts in the last couple of days. Anyone else seeing this?
A few days ago only the big ones were showing up and now they stopped completely.

I went into edit mode and hid everything except for characters. I saw that a bunch of them were stuck in my Springfield Heights. Maybe because I have a lot of buildings close together. I put a bunch of them in my inventory and all the beasts started moving again.
