Ghostbusters

Who else is playing this? I find it fun but a little bit too much of a grind. The mechanics reminds me of WoW because you have your tank, DPS and healer.

If they really put their act together they could have a great game with complicated fights but we will see. Too bad there is no community and no wiki (I have no idea what half the items actually do).

Oi ghostbusters!

P!ss off!

No, sorry. Maybe if you build a wiki, they will come.

Yes. It is #2 of free apps for at least my Apple store. It is a freemium game sort've similar to this one.

Yeaaaaaay, someone got the reference! Good movie, awesome book.

That's a good question, I think there are actually a few Ghostbusters games out there. Which one do you play, jarci?

    Feel better, Neo!

New game eh? I could do with a little Ghostbusters. Do they have their own forum and can I keep my post count, avatar and ability to post images and videos? Peruvenkman. I think I may see the future...

I posted here because I'm pretty sure the vast majority of TSTO players will like it. It only came out a few days ago. Just go to the Apps store and search for Ghostbusters (or look at the top charts and it will be very high in the free section).

You do need a little hand-eye coordination but it isn't very hard.

It is made by Capcoms app company called Beeline.

I find the controls of Ghostbusters too cumbersome to enjoy.

I agree that it is annoying trying to select units that are overlapping. They should work on that. The missions are so easy though so it hasn't really hurt me yet.

No but I'm having a very hard time getting what I need to level up Egon's step-niece. You heard me right there. They made it so Egon's sibling married someone with a daughter and she comes to work for them. The whole point of the thing is that Peter is turning Ghostbusting into a franchise gig now after the second movie so you're working with a different group of Ghostbusters in conjunction with the originals, who are premium characters you can buy. You go around busting ghosts for money so you can earn slime to be able to open the doors to the different floors of a high rise they're investigating. To level up your Ghostbusters you need manuals for their type of buster. And without one of the manuals I can't have a team able to level up and I keep getting slimmed by the football ghost, the first major ghost you run into on your own.

The main characters from the movie are premium? * that. I'll give EA one thing and that is they kept all of the principle characters free. I'll give them nothing else mind. Oh and the free donuts at Christmas. No not the free donuts as they increased the price of new premium items in the latest update.

Yes. The main characters are premium, but it doesn't really matter and that is why the company is not topping gross earning currently.

Chibihalo...here is a strategy for you. First position the guys far apart. Then get your scientist (the white girl) to heal the tank (the black guy). Then use your tank first to draw aggro and get your blaster (the blue haired chick) to kill what is currently being tanked. Once you get the hang of it, it is a joke even on hard. They need to up the difficulty significantly.

That's Beeline for you. I had been playing Snoopy's Street Fair regularly and nearly every Peanuts character outside of Sally, Violet, Peppermint Patty (who's only in there to give you tasks), Rerun, Snoopy, and of course Charlie Brown are purchased with premium currency, even the ones you probably don't remember. Granted they do daily sales for premium items but the game is nearly all premium items.

As for the * off statements...really? You know people are allowed to play other games and still play this. I don't think anyone is getting royalties from EA, Fox or Matt Groening for have TSTO as the only game on thier IOS device. Secondly it's kinda hard to be loyal to a game that puts out a minimal update maybe once a month.

As for the Ghostbusters game I got it but I can't level up my 'busters anymore stuck at level 5 can't find the manuels to upgrade them. I refuse to spend any money on another freemium game without knowing how long the developer will support the game. Anyone know which floor to get the manuels?
