Here is a tip for getting photos videos you have taken with your ipad/phone/pod, on to your pc.. Instead of having to mail them to yourself..
Connect the iOS device to the computer. (Usually your device comes with a white Usb/charging cable) plug one end in to the device, the other in to a USB port on your PC
Choose Start > Computer.
Double-click the logo for the device to browse its camera folders.
Navigate to [iOS device]\Internal Storage\DCIM\100APPLE.
Manually copy the content in this folder to your computer, wherever you would like to store it. (Right click, select copy in the menu that pop's up.. then go to the folder you want to save them in..( typically My Documents/Pictures, then right click again and select "paste " in the menu that pops up.)
Or, when the PC opens the "Auto Play" window after pluging in your device, select import pictures and videos. this will auto transfer them to your pc..
