I don't know where to put this and don't want to start a new thread for it...

Finally Mr. Plow makes sense! He's mowing the grass! So with the update we did not lose him (just got our snowmen melted).

Just had a friend visit my town for the first time!!! The "cards" appeared on my buildings, and when I tapped them, ALL 3 GAVE HEARTS!

    We'll see how this goes..

Thank You for the updated V-Day info!
Looks like it might be a fun event...bit frustrating....but fun.

...now, my problem is that I'm in the middle of a glitch where it says my 90+ friends haven't updated yet.
I know for a fact that 20 of them did in fact update, but I still can't visit them.
Time to play the waiting game >.<

I'm confused. I was only able to access the original SF and clicked on 3 buildings with three cards. I got one heart.

So what buildings do you click on?

That's horrible ratios, 1 heart for 3 clicks.

Has anybody been able to figure out the magic combination yet? What to click to get 3 hearts?

Me thinks its random, one town I visited didn't even give me a heart.
    .

Yeah, I think it's random too...mostly got 1 heart (from towns I could visit), but one town gave me 2!

Kind of frustrated so far, despite the friend glitch. Usually they provide a screen of general instructions about an event update, but not so this time!

MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING ISSUES VISITING THEIR FRIENDS...BE PATIENT!

    "Valentine's Day" Quests/Progression:
    1. You must collect 3 "cards" from neighbors. Collect them from Other Springfield if you can't access your regular friends.
    2. Lisa deliver Valentine to Milhouse's House (10 minutes) (keep Milhouse free)
    3a. Milhouse fly a kite (8 hours)
3b. Lisa do next week's homework (24 hours) (keep Milhouse free as Lisa finishes)
    4. Milhouse prompts the building of Phineas Q. Butterfat's (24 hour)

    Side Decoration Quest:
    1. Plant Valentine's Tree (15 Hearts)
    2. Place a Love Planter (20 Hearts)

    Limited Time Buildings:
Phineas Q. Butterfat's (10 Hearts) - can build anytime (part 4 of "Valentine's Day" quests)
Howard's Flowers (25 Hearts) - can build anytime
Sir Putt-A-Lot's (50 Hearts) - can build anytime after Level 15

    Permanent Buildings:
Escalator to Nowhere - $1,000,000 - can build anytime (3 days)
Popsicle Stick Skyscraper - $2,000,000 - can build anytime (3 days)

    Limited Time Decorations:
    Rose Bush (10 Hearts)
    Valentine's Tree (15 Hearts)
    Love Planter (20 Hearts)
    Rose Arch (25 Hearts)
    Valentine's Pond (30 Hearts)
    Cherub Topiary (35 Hearts)
    Cozy Hammock (40 Hearts)
    I Choo-Choo-Choose You Train (100 Hearts)

    Premium Character:
Shauna (90 donuts) - Visible Tasks: Tease the Ducks (8 hours) (possibly more tasks)

    Collecting Hearts from Friends:
You DO NOT get a heart from every card you tap in a friends' town. They are "random." This is how collecting Halloween treats from friends worked. You can get anywhere from 0-3 hearts from visiting your friends. You MAY GET hearts from every building/card that your friend taps in YOUR TOWN.

Here are the buildings that have "Be Mine" cards on them when you visit your friends (at least in "Other Springfield", there may be more)
    Bart's Treehouse
    Simpson's House
    Flanders' House
    Van Houten House
    Kwik-E Mart
    Krusty Burger
    Nuclear Plant
    Retirement Castle
    Police Station
    Town Hall
    Moe's
    School
    Willie's Shack
    Android Dungeon
    Church
    Cleetus' Farm
    Luigi's
    Prison
    Frink's Lab
    Duff Brewery
    Volcano Lair

    New Features:
    1. "Scratch R" mini-game: Scratch-Off cards at the Kwik-E Mart (every 6 hours - every card wins money!)

I've also seen cards on the library. Great job, btw! Very fast, and appreciated. Question...some people are talking about giving Valentines to friends, but all I've seen is collecting cards from friends, not giving. Just wondering if I missed something! :D

I bought a new parcel of land tonight after the update and had Homer "Clean up Springfield" and got one donut for that. That was a first.

I've got about $5mil through the friend glitch so was going to buy the Popsicle Stick Skyscraper, but then I figured I'd better see if the glitch had been "fixed" in the update. It appears it has-- 15 minutes of tapping in and out yielded the same $18 as the first tap. Good thing I saved the cash. Can anyone else confirm this?

I'm so glad I saved my money rather than buying up land! Those are steep prices!

When I first went into my town after the update there was a mini game different to the scratch card game. There were 3 parcels (probably got something to do with the small parcel next to XP) and I won 3 doughnuts, is this a one off or is there a way to trigger this again?

    Thanks.

    That's the bonus level game.

I'm guessing others know this but the "Side Decoration Quest" Continues...

    Valentine's Goodies Pt. 4: Place a Valentine's Pond (30 Hearts)

Edit Note... Really trying to get the Quote to work properly but, even though it looks good in Preview, it keeps messing up. :(
