Completely Goes Against My Beliefs
I believe it is Exodus 2:30 that states: "Thou shalt not play mobile games that pokes fun at this religion. It is okay to laugh when other things are made fun of but when things that you believe in are made fun of, that's when it's no longer funny. Thou shalt not laugh at yourself."
In Matthew 15:11, it states "If you are offended by something, do not simply make a personal decision to ignore or not partake in something. Demand that it be changed so that people who do not have the same beliefs as you have no choice but to be subject to your belief system. Go forth and whine! Whine like you have never done before!"
I'm demanding EA refund all of my money and I invite you all to join me. Please sign the petition at petition.org.

So true.
OMG, what has EA done to a large segment of their fan base? If EA is playing to "The Simpsons" fan base, then most Simpsons fans know that everything is fair play when it comes to making fun. If indeed an icon of Christianity were here today, I do think that they would prefer those who spend their time railing against a mobile game would be better off railing against something more substantial than this.
And one last thing. There are MANY non-Christian folk who play and are OK with the subject matter here. Too many so-called Christians are so freaking hung up over anyone or anything that is NOT Christianity based. Get over yourselves...Christianity is YOUR religious choice, please stop insisting it is the ONLY choice and allow the rest of us to make up our own minds...
I couldn't make a better comment myself. Inspirational.
The hatred I've seen recently on these forums are staggering and make me ashamed to be a Tapped Out fan- if this is what the fandom is like, so intolerant of anything that doesn't conform to their own beliefs or way of life, then I want out frankly. Just the insults thrown at Paganism alone make me nauseous.
These moaners don't want to try anything new, ever, and for that reason they really shouldn't be watching The Simpsons or playing this game.
A real Christian would not watch the Simpsons, and NEVER play a video game based on the show. The show mocks Christianity, and other religions, makes fun of those who are affronted by the mockery, and goes out of its way to poke fun at their beliefs. If you are a Christian you need to either quit playing right now so as to not incur the wrath of god, or lighten up and take the content for what it is, satire.
And then to top it off, you aren't worried about the content corrupting christians, you show your real love, money, by asking for what you spent back. I believe greed is still a deadly sin, is it not?
I wouldn't agree really. I am an atheist, but I used to be Christian, and I still watched and enjoyed it (even while being mocked!)
The Simpsons pokes fun at everyone, but it is more in the form of trying to laugh with you, not at you. they push the boundaries, but they don't at all go out of their way to be offended.
Just as office workers can and do enjoy watching The Office, and people at the BBC can and do enjoy watching W1A (If you don't know what that is, it is a hilarious BBC programme poking fun at their own executives,) people generally can enjoy The Simpsons even though, or maybe even perhaps, they poke fun.
Edited it to make more sense
The point I was making was that the Simpsons writers are not anti-Christian. They poke fun at it. That isn't the same thing. I was trying to illustrate it to point out a similar situation with me.
Some common ground. I'm Christian, and have love for anyone who is a good person. Religion, political view, race, gender, sexuality... don't matter. It's a dynamic world, being static will leave you lost.
Oh yea, and money. If you haven't spent the donuts on anything in this event then again, what could you be mad about. You were gonna buy donuts anyway and you'll most likely spend them on something else later. Unless that went puff in a bunch of faery dust too?
