EA, I appreciate the land. I really do, but...

...you can't add more land and give us more awesome content without increasing the items cap. I don't consider myself to have a super detailed Springfield, not like some of the amazing designs I've seen on here, but I am about 2K over the max. And I don't even have every item used and I still have scattered void spots in my SF. If I were to put every item you ever gave us out on my SF, I don't even know how over the cap I would be.

I want more land. I want more content. But, I want a game that can handle it. Please find a solution that can allow a larger items cap, otherwise, some of us will not be able to continue to playing, but not due to choice, just due to your games capacity.

That is all. I hope this is heard.

The item limit has been raised at the start of this event, now a max of 9200, according to this thread:

The solution is simple. Cut off old phones and tablets. It was done this year. You can't play anymore on old iOS and old Android versions.

But they can only do it when the number of players using this old devices are low enough.

So, please tell everybody to buy new phones.

as i previously said, if EA would honur bonus to items in inventory, I would be most grateful. for example, if I have 20 police cars, I only want to display 1/20, then currently I only have bonus to the item on display while the 19 in inventory will not get recognised. If they do this, they can reduce the cap as I hardly will hit that. They have done this to SH (in terms of values of items purchased) and it can surely be done.

Rebate for new mobile device, and credit given to EA. If I'm buying a new device for this game then I want free donuts and to "pay" for years more of updates.

Yep, my town isn't exactly super detailed, yet the item cap keeps popping up. It is quite annoying.

I agree with aabcampos, they can only shut off support for older devices once a sufficiently low number of people are using them. This will improve over the next year I imagine (for example, new phones for Christmas)
