Hoarding for act 2 - don't hoard: catnip and figurines won't carry over

It seems some tappers already have parsons and looks like a fair bit will get him tomorrow or the day after.

wrong -> I'm thinking I'll start hoarding figurines and the catnip, and just do 4 small turn ins per day. Any other ideas?

I am not very good at hoarding, so I probably won't even try. I don't expect to have issues act 2, so I am not going to worry about it.

Hoarding is probably a good idea, especially if there aren't bonus donuts in Act I. I'm already trying to hand in the minimum since we still have six days and I'm already near to getting the UFO. Although I guess we'll have additional currencies as the library and Moe's come online in future acts.

Turn in enough to get as many bonus donuts as you can. Also do the minimum needed to get daily runestones.

Personally I'm hoarding in the last 8hrs or so. No point doing so too early - there'll be 2x new "trading" currencies (Library + Moe's), so those will bottleneck you anyway if you have a ton of Catnip & Idols.

if you are already done with act 1 with a week left, it is really pointless to hoard...not like you are going to be unable to finish act 2 if you are an around the clock tapper

usually same people who then come and complain about why they finished so early with the other acts

One reason for hoarding for Act is that Act 2 starts on the 18th (or 19th?). And during Christmas week there can be less tapping time if there's craziness going on in real life. It's nice to be able to slack off on TO during that time so we're not obsessed with tapping on christmas day, etc.

definitely, if you wont be able to tap as much then could make sense for some. however, my opinion is if you plan to be routine tapper (or in some people's cases have more time during the holidays when they are not at work), imo makes sense to not excessively hoard.

One reason to hoard is we don't know who will be used to collect the new currencies in act 2 (unless I missed it somewhere). If the same characters are collecting the new currency, it will help to have stockpiled the old. That way you can send all characters to earn the new and use up your reserves of the old.

Bonuts were mentioned at the Addicts calender (5.100 antlers) but I'm not there yet.

Thank you. This makes me to stop hoarding. I also expect higher ratio for bonuts in 2act.

This also makes daily task reward 75 figurines only 0,22 donuts.

I have a neighbour that hoards from the start. I've always played where I keep going for more bonuts each act until I won't get another round. Their results end up being way more than I can possibly get in bonuts total - so am going to try it this time based on just that (not willing to do all the math to figure out ratios with so many things changing values in each act). Also not sure if we'll get characters with multiple tasks so we'll have to pick between locations to send.

Thought of something else to hoard though - runes. I'll delay crafting to hoard the currency from that too.

I'm hoarding runes, figurines, catnip. Will try to see if I can hoard tasks but for now I'm getting ones I can't avoid completing (collect 100 figurines etc.). Are there any tasks we can hoard?
