Im pretty sure it's gone. I've tried and only got 18$ per building in every friends town.

This is ridiculous, EA takes away the friend glitch ( which i got most of my money from )
and decides to put 1000000 and 2000000 dollar buildings

I used to only tap one building per visit because the payout would increase every time you re-enter. By the last tap in the last town I was getting like $500-$700. So am I understanding correctly that this is gone? If so, that is messed up that they would take that away and THEN release two of the most expensive "buildings" by FAR. Not cool, EA.

    It has, tried twice now.
First try was for half hour entering and exiting a friend with Springfield sign. Measly few dollars I received and this continued as I made progression as I tapped on the buidlings.
Second try was 15 minutes it then crashed.

Yep the friends glitch is long gone!

People were getting to much money, so thats why they made those items soooo expensive, this way if people had the money it would burn a hole in their pockets thus reducing the amount of money they have......clever EA :P

I have tried and by the time I get close to 20 minutes it goes to an all green load screen and then crashes.

Think they have added that crash cos i get that when going through all the collections, another reason to stop us collecting to much money :(

I have been hearing about the friend's glitch and how it generated money and how it's gone...

I haven't been playing for long, could someone tell me what the glitch was exactly?

    Thank you

Everytime you would visit a new friend or revisit the same one three times, the amount of money you would recieve per building would increase.

and if you visited them without collecting anything for lets say an hour then start collecting you would earn thousands of dollars.... but sadly this trick os gone.

Of course the glitch is gone. A soon as a bug (glitch) is discovered in any software efforts will be put in to remove it. One of the selling points for the premium content is that you will earn in game cash faster and thus advance faster. If in game cash come to easy you don’t need this extra income from the premium content and EA will eventually lose money. Also, with an abundance of in game cash the game starts to get boring, with nothing to work for...

The only surprise here is really that they removed the multiplier (from friends) all together. Now we are back to 16$ per tap (max earnings per day with 100 friends: 3*100*16 = 4800$) instead of perhaps an average of 20$ per tap if you would have gain the benefit from your neighbours premium content multiplier (with 20$ per tap you would have earned 6000$ from 100 friends). I don’t think the developers ever intended for the multiplier to remain and increase when moving on to the next friend (and definitely not when tapping in and out of the same town over and over again).

So to sum up: I’m surprised to lose 1200$ from my daily earnings from neighbour visits.

Well... It couldnt last forever. If you had the chance to exploit the glitch you now got an opportunity to get two fancy souvenir from the days when money came easy. If not, well there are plenty of alternatives to boost your vanity rating.

    I don't understand.

    What level are you?

I'm level 25 and I do not house farm, I do have multiple houses but they are spread about and have nice big lawns and trees. My town generates over $100K a day if I remember to put my people on hourly tasks. It generates a bit less if I do 24 hour tasks.

Many people have reported that they make $60K a day.

So not sure why it would be any problem getting to a million in a matter of days.

I'm glad the glitch is gone, it was causing instability and overloading the servers.

I'm all for better game stability and I'm sure you're glad the glitch is gone, but you have no way of knowing that it "was causing instability and overloading the servers".

I'm glad it's gone too. I saw level 10's with almost all the land, didn't make sense to me whatsoever. This is how the game should be played, now that players will have to eventually save up for land/buildings I bet people won't lose interest in it so fast.
