Bonus Percentage Not Increasing

My current bonus percentage is 398.5%. Just purchased the Mulderhorn and a few other items which should have increased it by 9 points. However, it did not. Still says 398.5%. Tried all the usual tips and tricks, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Try syncing your game (going to KL/neighbours screen and back) if you haven't already. Hopefully it will show up after that.

Just to be clear, you did place the items, right? They're not in storage?

Should my percentage have gone up on all the items I already own? It did not.

Edit. Never mind. I was thinking specifically about the fireplaces. They got a bonus awhile back. I just found all mine hidden in my town so I aready had that bonus.

Yes, I did place all items immediately after purchasing.

When you store it, does your % go down or is it not at all affected by the item?

I placed several XP items along with the Mulderhorn in storage and put them out again. Percentage is correct now. Odd. Thanks for all the tips/suggestions.
