>:)WOW!!! 10 friggin characters missing from Squeaky Voice Teen, Bumbleman, JesiGrass, HansMoleman, Carney, BlueHairLawyer, Sheri&Terri, Yes Guy... can't wait to enjoy conversation resolution w/EA on that one... >:)

    How are they missing? You bought them and they are no longer in your town, town hall & character collection? Or they are no longer available to buy in the store?

    I think you mean Kearney, not Carny. It's always important to get it exactly right with Customer Support - they get confused easily.

    I had characters go missing once when I was rearranging monorail tracks in water. EA was no help. First I had to figure out who all went missing by checking the town census. Then I stored each of their buildings and when I returned it, the characters returned. If some of the Simpsons are missing, you can't store the Simpsons house, so good luck with EA. :/
    I had around 20-25 missing...what a panic.
    @ZennGlenn EA should be able to reset your town prior to this happening. You will lose any progress though.

    Yeah it's Kearny... All very bizarre & every charcter is uniquely one w/out bldgs :o ...BluHrLwyr, BmblMan, Kearney, Jimbo, JesseGrass, HansMlMn, Sher&Terri, SqkyVcTeen, Texan, YesGuy...
    Wow, just earned my 3 yr badge the other day & this is the kick in the **** to go w/it :s
    ...been trying to reach EA while traveling overseas / anti-functional mobile phone nonsense for ultimate challenge, so the only time I might ever prefer chat help the only option is for callback >:) ...great stuff, just great >:)

    Grrr. That is really unfortunate, no way you can fix on your own. Well, just keep on EA. If you can get through the script readers, they do have some helpful people. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

    ...guess the possible forunate convenience is Update us now available & might resolve things, although I just did full delete & reinstall last night on phone & tablet w/ no differences... >:)

    can you check the town hall? if not the sheights buildings? the ones that can generate.. Blue hair lawyer can make ads, bumble bee man can do awards, and SVT can do coffee maybe try the recycling areas for jesse grass?

    I say this because it may lead to the area in your inventory where they are or hopefully explain something.
    I'm not missing characters but when any character i have that can generate is not out clicking on the button will lead me to my inventory and where it is.

    @ZennGlenn - I can't sleep, so I was reading the forum... and I decided to scan your town to see if I could see any of the missing characters on my end (because, character wise, what I see going on in your town isn't necessarily the same as what you see in your town). I scanned it carefully a few times.

    I couldn't find any of the missing characters unfortunately. That doesn't mean they aren't there, but I was hoping to see at least one of them because then we could determine if it was some sort of syncing issue maybe.

    What I did notice may or may not be the cause of your problem - but this has been known to make the game act funny (and even to make items disappear in towns). You have a lot of your monorail track in the water.

    It pains me to suggest this - because I really like your monorail set up, and this may not even work - but I think you might want to try storing your monorail tracks, or at least the ones in water. Resync your game a few times. Then see if any of the missing characters re-appear. This is the only thing I can think of that might help. And it is only a maybe. But I think it could be worth trying. :)

    I think suetopia is on to something ZG...your monorail is magnificent, but there is a good bunch of it running through water. That has definitely been problematic for some.

    I would recommend trying this also. As I mentioned in an above post, that's when my characters went missing..when I was messing around with the tracks in water. What seems so odd to me is the characters that you have missing...most not associated with a building, or even Homer now because you can't store the Simpsons house to try to get him back.

    B) Cool suggestions /thx again Sue & all... will keep in mind if any further trouble; very pleased to finally share I got a call from an Austin EA rep who reverted town back a couple days just prior to loss which fully resolved everything, as well as fine compensation for the mayhem... Mmmm, sweet Kwikee Karma B)
