What makes it appear?

Appeared as part of the questline, then one tourist with it and now can't find any others except the germy cloud on its own which is untappable. It says spread to friends but no action to do this other than just visit ? Possibly some sort of community prize, we'll see later in the day maybe, at moment my game says 0.24 % of world infected, up from 0.23 earlier.

It's now at 0.52% infected, so looks like it is a community-wide counter. Expect bigger increase when USA wakes up.

I just got +1 Osaka Flu when I was clearing a neighbours visit. It seems to spread by simply visiting neighbours.

I'm in US, just unlocked it. I think I found 2 tourists in my SF infected, but no way to infect neighbors, though I received a message to that effect. I'm thinking there's a bug and it's not working as it's supposed to do.

Had 1 tourist in my town with it,now just an untappable cloud.
Have no idea either how to infect neighbours.
My counter shows 6/100 & a .63 percentage.

My infection survey shows 46/100 and .64% infected.
I had visited the "other" half of friends that I didn't have time for yesterday even though they didn't count.

it's just a task that pops up once your infected. i got it as soon as i logged in this morning after several neighbors visited so not sure who passed it to me.
