EA Devs - can you please remove the Lunar New Year tasks?

I have the following tasks still displaying first in the characters' task list:

Task: Make Simpsons Put Out Fires 1hr
Task: Make Springfielders Enjoy a Chinese Banquet 4hr
Task: Make Simpsons Enjoy a Chinese Banquet 4hr
Task: Have Homer Buy Gifts for the Fire Rooster 6s
Task: Make Homer Make Out With the Fire Rooster 6s

Homer may have others (sorry he's on task right now).

On android.

Makes it challenging to manually set each character. Also setting through job manager will choose these tasks first.

ETA: note that if for some reason all springfielders except Sophie Krustofsky have the 4hr task removed, this would also be greatly appreciated and of course a full fix.

Same here, all my people going to the Simpson House for the dinner.
Luckily the office for unemployment doesn't switch out the premium skins when you send them, so you loose no money or XP, but you have to send them then manually

Yes should add to the request to please remove all except for Sophie - we'll consider it fixed

I don't mind them going to the banquet. Makes it easier to find tourists.

Check. Sophie is the most annoying character for over a year now. I wish they would fix her already.

For some reason, it always seems to take quite a while for EA to clean up these “holdover” tasks. I wouldn’t be surprised to see these particular ones sticking around for the rest of this event.

I am guessing that the 4-hour enjoy a Chinese banquet task was held over for this event on purpose because it's so geared to 4hour cycles, especially the plane flights task. The flights seem to draw on characters randomly, so to maximize the number of characters on flights they all have to be available every 4 hours. Too bad they all go to the Simpsons house which isn't storable if you need to pull a character out

That may be. Speaking for myself, since you have to access each character’s task list to assign the banquet task, I don’t find it particularly convenient or useful.
