I'm generating 1 at a time, with a 20 timer that resets if I leave I either stay in game 24/7 or send 1 character every 4 hours.
This is massively annoying-the airport is ok but you can't place anything on the runway so all the extra pieces just mean open land I can't place anything else on. Of course there's also the weird size ratio nonsense.
Hope they fix the timer!!
I'm of the opinion that the timer was probably always intended to be 20 minutes; don't forget the option to buy tickets for 2 donuts each and the chance to earn them in challenges, were there from the very beginning of the event.
I had to use donuts to start my first mission today. Hope they fix it. (The timer resets at 20 min.) I can't see my neighbors scores either. It's a good way to detect inactive players...
This morning i had 0 tickets with 18 mins to reset, went back on an hour later and still 0 tickets with the timer having reset itself back to 20 mins. Whats the deal with this?
The longer the timer takes to make tickets the more it screws up all the 4 hour tasks for each questline we have going on which is just plain irritating, especially as its not sending me notifications when tasks are finished.
Update: closed the game and opened it 20 minutes later only for the timer to reset and still no ticket so left game open, got down to 5 minutes before the game crashed, reopened it and timer had reset AGAIN. Looks like im doing no tasks today then, or tomorrow as im unable to play all day. Nice one EA!
I didn't have the timer reset issue last night straight after the 20 minute change, but it's now happening this morning. Had to limit myself to 3 passengers as I don't want to spend donuts on tickets.
Everytime i shut Down the game, my timer resest. I wont play the game for 20 minuttes to wait for 1 ticket! This need to be fixed, i am so tired. Always problems with updates!
This morning, in all 3 towns, my time was different after I sent the first 3. The timer in one town started at 4 minutes, another town at 7 minutes and the last town at 11 minutes. But after that, the next timer in all towns started at 20 minutes.
Then something odd but good happened. In my main town I didn't send any of my characters on regular tasks after I completed the plane tasks (which I usually do). I checked my other towns, came back to my main town and I had five more jobs available at the airport. I didn't take advantage of the glitch (since the timers changed) So I don't know what I did to make more jobs appear but I hope I can duplicate it again.
Ugh. I so hoped I would wake up this morning and they would have fixed this and given us 200 free donuts for our suffering and stress and buttplugs.
At the moment I can send three people out then the timer sets to 2mins (mini-yay) for the next ticket but then goes back to 20mins for the last one. I just wish an event can go smoothly for once.
I checked my other towns, came back to my main town and I had five more jobs available at the airport. I didn't take advantage of the glitch (since the timers changed) So I don't know what I did to make more jobs appear but I hope I can duplicate it again.
I've never used the glitch but I had job openings randomly too - once 2 hours after sending all needed people on flights. There is still something unstable in this event and lately they've been quick to fix stuff so come on EA, pull your finger out.
Well now my first ticket regeneration times are 2 1/2 minutes, 6 1/2 minutes, 8 1/2 minutes. I'm guessing the additional tickets will be 20 minutes after that.
When I got back into the game after 4 hours, two travelers had finished, one was still active for less than a minute. I was able to send one to the challenge's location, plus Kumiko, and that was it - no other travelers available, even after I cleared all other tasks, freeing everyone else. (Friends screen sync didn't help either.) So I now got one unused ticket.
EA needs to figure out their timers. This reminds me of the issues people had fighting during the Superheroes 2 event. For some they would reset when they left the game. Mine is working for me. I get 3 tickets every 20 minutes and 5 people are available to go so I have been sending 3 every hour. I hope those of you having issues are able to get them fixed.
