Does the Act 1 currency (pins) get converted into Act 2 currency?

If so, I'll hold off on redeeming them. I just don't want them to change into something useless like Springfield cash.

Likely french (France?) pins will be obsolete for act 2 but Sky credits will be good for the whole event.

Oh wells. I guess I can redeem it for bonuts. I was hoping to save it up for Act 2 though.

The new currency will replace the old. Towards the end of an act you can save up currency earning tasks and tap able currency, at the start of the next act will automatically switch to the new currency and you can't get a head start.
