Hey thanks! I hard closed it before I came on here, but figured "what the heck it's worth one more try" and lo and behold, all fixed.

Just click on the building, some may be invisible.
Another trick I discovered today is; the 1.5 seconds after you load your city or a friends you can see the cards, but then they disappear.
If your fast enough, you can click them and collect the money, Xperia and possible heart.

If you ain't fast enough, leave the city and go back in as many times as it takes.
